Just would like some feedback on this restaurant. Not sure if we should try it out or not! Any suggestions or feedback would be
appreciated! Thanks & have a magical day! :-) :Pinkbounc :bounce: princess:

I ate there for the first time in May. It was fantastic IMO.

The dining room is fun and modern looking. It is a bit noisy because of the design, open kitchen and high ceilings. Service was friendly and prompt.

For an appetizer I selected the lobster salad. It was fresh, sweet lobster meat served on a bed of greens with roasted baby beets and a lemongrass creme fraiche. My entree was wild salmon with English peas and asparagus "cappuccino" (a frothy asparagus puree). Dessert was their Valhrona chocolate souffle. :hyper:

Meals are expensive but for a special treat this is a great choice. All seafood is fresh and the menu changes depending on what's available.

This is one of my favorite Disney resturants! Great fresh fish. I love the seared Ahi Tuna. The ceasar salad is great too.

It is rather pricey though.

I would highly recomend it!::yes::

The food here is delicious and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Dh did not enjoy the atmosphere. The tables are close together and it is noisy. In his opinion, he couldn't enjoy a nice dinner with his dw. I thought it was a fun atmosphere as mentioned before. I guess its all in what you like. Hope this helps.

We've eaten here many times and have always enjoyed it. On our last rrip this past fall, we opted for seats at the bar overlooking the open kitchen. We had great interaction with servers, cooks etc. I've always eaten fish here, but after hearing rave reviews about the steak, I decided to give it a try. All I can say is awsome!

Ok I see all of the positive reviews for The Flying Fish, however we had dinner there and we hated it. The fish was mushy and we didnt like it at all!! We loved the atmosphere and were so excited to eat there. Maybe its because we dont eat fish much.
Hope you enjoy it. I dont think I could ever talk DH into giving it a second chance. :wave:

I loved this resaurant! I do caution you though, think of it as a special occasion place, not as you local Red Lobster. That way the prices won't scare you to death! I promise you though the food is worth ecery single penny. Save room for dessert to, if they are serving it, the chocholate souffle is out of this world! It was all I could do to keep from licking the dish!

Flying Fish used to be one of our premium meals. But two "not-so-special" experiences for two years in a row, took it off our must-do list. We're going for a week in Aug. & have decided to give FF another try. If you can wait that long, I promise that I'll post a review.

When we went to FF a few years ago, it was too crowded at the tables, so we were seated at the counter where the chefs cook. I strongly recommend asking to be seated there b/c we really enjoyed it! We were seated across from a really kind chef and when I was about to take a picture of him at work, he noticed and gathered all the other chefs for a group picture--it turned out wonderfully! It was also cool to see them prepare the meals... I know that I will always remember how this chef enhanced our experience and I would not have had these fond memories if I hadn't been seated at the counter--give it a try...it's not crowded like the tables and we thought it was really fun! :fish:

We had a great experience there last summer. I really enjoyed the potato wrapped snapper, one of their signature dishes.

Still...California Grill remains the favorite.
