DH and I got ours at Walgreens on the 12th. The tech was really good, and I had no lingering arm pain.
Yikes! That would put me off too. I've struggled with frozen shoulder issues the last couple of years so getting any shot is daunting to me. I was so relieved that my flu shot just made it slightly sore until the next day.
I don't think severe shoulder pain for a month+ is just the flu shot working.A reaction to a vaccine is a good thing! It means your body is reacting and producing the antibodies you will need if the real virus gets in your body.
The flu shot hurt me a lot more than the Covid booster too.Got mine this evening....a few weeks ago my Dr. said it was fine to get both at same time (flu & booster), the CDC has said it's okay to get them together, the Walgreens website allowed me to book them together, but the pharmacist wasn't sure! In the end they gave me both. Dang the flu shot HURT. I mean painful- booster I barely felt, but that flu shot was something else altogether.
One in one arm, one in other. No pain at all after the fact.
So, hopefully that is that.
Got my booster this morning, also. Pfizer, though. No problems so far. Nurse administering the shot was wonderful - didn't feel a thing.Got my COVID booster (Moderna) earlier today. No ill effects, nothing, no arm ache, redness, nothing. .

Got my Moderna booster yesterday, early afternoon. All was fine yesterday, still really is. To be 100% honest and transparent, this morning, the injection site is a bit achy. Nothing much at all, just a bit achy, maybe a one or two square inch area. I've had the feeling in past years from some vaccinations. Not all, no pattern, just a few once in awhile. I am sure it will dissipate by tonight, tomorrow at the latest. I am so happy that I have it.I hope those of you getting the Moderna booster will post back with side effect reports.

Thanks for your reports!Same with both of us, Dan.
Just a minor awareness of the area.
For me, zero side effects from 1st and 2nd Moderna back in February and March. And again, my slightly achy arm is not much of a side effect for me. Feels like I bumped it.Thanks for your reports!
Did either of you have many side effects from the initial 2 shots?
