Ontario DISsers, Shoppers is starting to take appointments for this year's flu shots. Might be worth checking if yours has any available.

Reminder for anyone else interested in the flu shot.... tis the season to hunt for appointments.

Walmart & Costco also have online booking for appointments, but I'm not sure of the criteria for being able to get one yet (I know they were doing it in stages). I'll be looking after my trip next week. Hopefully this year I can get one before they run out. Last year they didn't have enough and I didn't get them since we were basically at home most of the time, thought others might need them more.

Just remember in Ontario it's only eligible to high-risk individuals (group 1) and health care workers until November.

I got mine at Safeway last week. Most Sobeys/Safeway/Freshco have them in Winnipeg.

OK, I must be officially old. I got my high dose (for older people) flu shot on Friday at the Loblaws Pharmacy. They called me on Thursday afternoon to let me know the shots were in stock. I had no reaction, one of my friends had flu-like symptoms afterwards.

They're booking next week, which is the end of Oct. Start watching for booking availability. Don't wait for a notice.

I got mine right at work last week, they came into our school and did all the school staff. In and out in 5 minutes, it was great.

We're calling our doctor weekly to see when they'll start booking appointments. With two young kids, we can't just go to a pharmacy.

I get mine tomorrow. Doctor'smoffice called today to book me in for my 3rd covid shot (all Pfizer) and informed me they would do my flu shot at the same time. Here's hoping I don't have a reaction With the double whammy.

I will ask that question when I'm there. I know for sure I'm getting my covid booster. and I feel a whole lot more comfortable travelling to the world at Christmas now!

My doc arranged a drive through for Oct 30. Pull up, roll up your sleeve and she'll do the jab.

Little Boys and I got ours today at Rexall. DD is booked tomorrow and Big Kid 19 is Sunday.
My arm is killing ha ha but am thankful to get it so quickly .

Done in Alberta, opened up on the 18th and our local Safeway had appointments for today. There are two dose levels, depending on age (over 65 get a higher dose). All ready for our trip in 26 days.
