It's been hotter on the East Coast. Hopefully Kendra is having a good time.
Picked a good week to be by the water.

I bet she is having a great time! I can't wait to hear about it.


It has been pretty mild here this summer, just the last week has it gotten really hot, maybe because we have had so much freakin' rain.

Oh yeah, we are going out of town next weekend, and I told them when Mike and I come back, we are getting back into our routine.

I am picturing me and the kids waking up at 7:00 am for the first few days and just being zombies on the couch.

Jonathan will still just go 3 days a week to his preschool, so he won't have it too bad. But Jess will be exhausted.

We got their backpacks today and a new lunchbox for Jess!

We are going with some friends to New Braunfels to float the river for the weekend with no kids.

Yep, we were thinking about it anyway, and they just switched our cable compnay and there were more HD stations that Mike wanted, so we just added it all the other night.

We got the comcast package for the same reason, more HD stations

Although I found out today that the river we usually float is basically closed because it is too dangerous from all of the rain we have had. Luckily there is another one that should be okay.

I used love back to school shopping with all the supplies.
Valerie doesn't use a backpack anymore. The high school is around the block.
Danielle only uses those nylon Nike backpacks that sell fpr $10.00

Jess just got a girl one (no one is on it) Jonathan got a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle one. Poor Jonathan was all upset about not getting a lunchbox, but they serve lunch at his preschool (part of the price), so I told him next year when we goes to Jessica's school he can have a lunchbox, he can't wait!

We had On Demand before with our previous cable company, but it is the best!!!!

From the pictures of the SWW I can't believe he's in pre-school.
He looks older.

And I think he has grown almost 2 inches since then! He has had a major growth spurt this summer. His birthday is in Oct, so he will be almost 6 when he starts K.
