I did find out they don't have uniforms which I was bummed about. I wanted them too. I think it's easier for kids and makes them all more equal.

Of course, I didn't think that when I was in school and they were talking about uniforms for us. :rolleyes1
But Adam and Noelle had them in CA and it was so nice and easy.
I love uniforms. It is definitely going to be easier. If we ever have to go back to public schools that is in my top 10 of things I would miss. Some of the things I see the kids in the public schools wearing-- :scared1: and I am not a prude in any way but my goodness kids should be kids for a bit
I wouldn't mind uniforms. I know there is a big cost in September when you buy them. But it would be so much easer during the year.

I don't think the cost is that much compared to what you might spend on regular clothes. I spent $190 through the uniform company, $30 at Sears for two pants and two shirts, and $18 at Target for two pairs of shorts. $7 at Walmart for knee socks and I will be buying some tights but compared to the ballet tights, those are a drop in the bucket. I don't think that's too bad, that's everything for the year. Wait, no, gym uniforms will be another $45 or so for lightweight and heavyweight. But...... there will be uniform swaps at the end of the year, or I can save all of this for Lilly and not need to buy stuff for her. Not too bad

Brian is good about keeping his socks together, Alyssa however must feed them to the dogs, I have no idea where all hers go :confused3

How the heck does Brian keep his socks together?
I thought boys were worse then girls when it came to that. :rotfl:

Does he keep a neat room?

I'm supposed to be here til 11:30 but I am probably going to leave soon, I have to go to the grocery store on the way home and I will have 30 hours of overtime this weekend so I don't think it will matter too much if I leave 30 minutes early!

You could fly to Vegas with all that overtime :rolleyes1

I understand that only too well.

Are you drinking alot of water?
They say that fills you up. Although I'd rather feel filled from some cake or cookies. :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I drink tons of water, but that's noting knew and it doesn't fill me the way I want to be filled

Brian is pretty neat, it's odd that he is the clean one and Alyssa is the slob :confused3 She takes after her Dad

I use to think like that until my kids got to that age.
We do save on winter coats.:rolleyes1
From middle school on kids wear mostly sweatshirts.

That's right Catherine will be there too! I wish I could go, but there is no way. Ya'll will have to take lots of pictures to share with us!!!

Are you ready for your weekend getaway Jenna :woohoo:

I am!!!

Except for one small probelm, the large river that we usually float is freakin closed because of all of the rain we have had, it is too dangerous.

There is a smaller one there though that is open. And really, it will just be great to get away, not worry about the kids because they are with my MIL, and relax.:yay:

My MIL watched Jonathan for me today, so that I could take Jess and go school clothes shopping. We had a great time, and she got so many cute things!

She wanted to go into Limited Too, and I said okay, but we probably will not buy anything. Well we found this cute outfit, it was a plaid skirt with a camisole shirt and a lightweight sweater that went over it.

So she tries it on, fits good, looks great. She takes it off. The skirt is $37, the camisole top is $20 and the sweater is $37. :scared1:

I told her no way, I am not spending $100 on a single outfit.

I have to go.

see ya guys tomorrow :hippie:

sorry I missed you Jenna

Anita is going to tell you how mean you are now :teeth: :rolleyes1

Hi Ladies... just stopping in for a bit to say hi...

They should just make disposable socks at the rate we lose them in our house.

that sounds about right
Brian is good about keeping his socks together, Alyssa however must feed them to the dogs, I have no idea where all hers go :confused3

well, maybe they are in the trap on the washer ;) :confused3 I found four in there when I cleaned it out and we've only had the thing for about 5 months.

Most likely, it's the dog. OR under the bed :scared1:

do they really? I don't see too much of that around here but I hope so. Although they probably have to be very specific sweatshirts  Who am I kidding, my daughter just turned 6 and she is already into the Limited Too. I'm screwed :sad2:
