Hi,

I have a couple of reservation questions regarding Flounders.

1. Can anyone tell me what the payment policy is for flounders? For instance, if I reserve a 4 hour time slot on a certain day.....but I only use 2 hours.....will they charge me for 2 or for the full 4 hours.

2. After boarding, what is the maximum amount of days or time blocks that a person can reserve initially?

Thanks!

***You will not be charged for the extra time at Flounders-only from the time you sign in, until the time you leave

***You may reserve as many open times as you desire.....typically, DW and I reserve every evening for DS, 2...from 6-11pm....please note that if you do not plan on using a reserved time, you must call 4 hours in advance to cancel, otherwise you will be charged....

I stand corrected by DW.....she says you are given your first 3 choices, and, depending on availability, given more.....we've always gotten all the days and times we've wanted though...

Well, my experience was different than alexandrew. We were charged what we signed up for regardless of when we signed out, and were told that upon sign up. IE, We signed up for 4 hours per night, but usually picked up DS after 2 1/2 hours and were charged for the entire 4 hours.

You can signup for 3 times initally and then during the first night you can then request additional times if they have spots available.

How soon after boarding can you sign up for Flounders? And where do you sign up? My friends are cruising on the Magic during Thanksgiving but their 3-year old might not be totally toilet trained by then so I guess he would have to be in Flounders if they want to go to Palo.

Here is the information listed in the Flounder's Reef Nursery general info sheet we got on our cruise in July.

"Requests: You are advised to make your three priority requests as soon as possible. We do book up very quickly. We will try to accommodate additional requests according to first come/first served and based on our babysitter/ratio availability.
The ratio is one adult to four infants, and one adult to six toddlers.

You can make reservation during open house on Embarkation Day from 1:00 PM-3:30 PM in the Nursery, by dropping by the nursery during normal hours of operation, or by calling the Nursery and leaving a message."

It does mention the need to cancel 4 hours prior to your scheduled session, or you will be charged 50% of your scheduled time cancellation fee.

I would double check all policies when signing up and when checking in, just to be sure.
