Okay, so I have a room booked at Worldquest. I have been searching for info and even called hotel, but am more confused. The lady on the phone wasn't sure if the playground was actually built or would be coming in soon! that's a big thing for us with our 3 & 4 year old.

Anyway, while searching the boards here i discovered another place called Floridays. I booked a room with them this am.
It worked out to be almost $300 cheaper (using AAA) over Worldquest.

Which would you guys choose?
Worldquest offers breakfast, snacks, closer location
BUT it's more expensive

Floridays is less expensive, Free Internet, playground
BUT it's further from Disney

sorry i'm not going to be much of a help right now -
we are staying at Floridays in 2 weeks - I was wondering how it was but never heard anything back about the resort on this board

reviewws on trip advisor sound great for it though - actually next year or maybe later this yr it's going to have it's own water park - won't be of any use for us but still cool

i can post about it when we get back from our trip in May

We visited the Floridays resort in February (just had a look round) and it is very nice. Good quality rooms and facilities. There is a kids play area at the main pool if I remember right.

The resort itself is only complete in phase 1, phase 2 which will include the water park is due for completion in a year at least. As there is no main security gate yet I believe from reading other reviews on here that there has been a security issue with regards to vehicles being broken into but this may be an isolated incident.

Sorry know nothing about Worldquest :confused3

Thanks everyone-

I'm hoping the break in was an isolated case!! I did ask the hotel about this and was told they added security. I guess that's what i would say to though!!

I'll let everyone know how it is when I get back. We're leaving in 2 days.

We were given a room in the farthest building away from the pools. We were busy so it did not make that big of a deal. The big pool has a bar area. The first night we were there DH checked the windows in the "kids" bedrom only to find them unlocked and he had trouble getting them to lock. It was a big unit. Very quiet. Complicated light switches. I don't think I turned on one light without trying a couple different switches first. Master bath was huge, but only one sink. Poor lighting in the master bath and there were no towel racks or drying area for bathing suits. master shower had great water pressue and the shower head was up nice and high for us tall people. overall a nice place to stay and very easy to get to disney world, sea world i-4. grocery store about a mile away. Kitchen had all the gadgets. Had a washer and dryer. They provided 1 packet of Tide. The deck was nice but not screened in. It did have a fan and light but we did not spend any time out there. The pool was fun for the kids it has a area for the realy young, lap lanes, a hot tub. :thumbsup2
