thank you
I know that this does not have to do anything with cruisin, but please help.

As a former Chicago native, that did not like the cold and moved down to Florida, I think I can give you at least some advise. First, I now live in New Mexico because it is the best of both places. Second, in order to see if you like Florida you must stay down there for several weeks in the middle of summer. It is hot, very hot, and muggy! I got used to it, lived there for about 9 years, but the hot summers did get to me. Third, the Orlando area is a very good choice because there is alot to do, variety of age population, and somewhat cooler than Miami to Naples area. I will most likely move there again but for now I do enjoy visiting the area.

I relocated from NE Ohio to Florida about 3.5 years ago. One thing that I did that helped me to decide on many things like the neighborhood I moved into was that I subscribed to the Sunday paper from here. They would mail it to me and I'd get it about 8 or 9 days after it was published, and that's fine. I wasn't looking for breaking news but for info to make me familiar with the city and the neighborhoods. You don't get the comics or the ads this way, but again, you're just trying to learn about the city.

If you do a web search with a good search engine like Google using the keywords 'relocate to Orlando' or to Florida or something like that, you'd be surprised how many helpful sites are out there.

Here's the first site that showed up in my search:
http://www.relocatingtoflorida.com/orlando.html

If you'd like more info on the steps I took to plan our move, you can email me and I'll answer any questions.

hope that helps
