I booked Florida Tours for our airport transfer, and have wanted to book them for a transfer from Port Orleans to Sea World. However, pardon my french, but their website sucks. For the past 3 months, it won't allow for online reservations.

Now, you have to wonder, if they can't be bothered fixing their online reservation system, are they reliable at all?

Should I cancel and go someplace else?

Thanks for the info, I am getting ready to book our limo for our vacation next month, and am wondering who to use? That would drive me nuts. The last thing anybody wants is to be at the airport and they are not. And by the way don't they say that the only way to get the discounts is to do it online.
I have also heard that you can fly right in to Orlando and have no trouble getting a limo right at the airport. Many there. Good luck and keep me posted.

I have not had any problems making reservations on their website, in fact I just made a new reservation last week.
Have you tried contacting them?

I also made a reservation online just over two weeks ago without any issue. We have used them in the past and been very happ with the service.

This is what I have gotten for the past 3 weeks:

Well, I just got my answer.

They're no longer doing transfers between Disney Resorts and Orlando based attractions. Only doing airport transfers. Nice of them to update their website.

Does anyone know of any other town car companies that do transfers between Disney Resorts and Sea World?

Sunray does transfers to Sea World and Universal. I personally haven't used them for this, but a friend of mine has. I can only vouch for the service that we have received from them on our past trips from MCO to our Disney resort.

I just booked Tiffany Towncars for Sea World transportation.

I'll stick with Florida Towncars for airport, as they seem to have a good reputation.

I always use Tiffany. What's nice about Tiffany is that when they pick you up from the airport, your driver will give you his/her card. He or she welcomes you to call them at any time for whatever transportation you need have during your stay, like going to SW/DC or between Disney and Universal, pretty much anywhere you want to go in the Orlando area. We've used them about a dozen times, and have always been happy with them.

You'll be in good hands with Tiffany. I've used them several times and been very happy. Both times I've used FL Tours I've had some 'small' issue. I feel badly about that since they are a board sponser, but, that's the 'way of it' as my mom used to say. Gotta be honest. The first time I used FL Tours, we had to go in search of the driver....both at the airport and at BWV. At the airport he was outside having a smoke...our flight was right on time, so a delayed flight wasn't the issue. It took dh about 5 minutes to locate him. For the return to the airport, we waited at the designated area at BW for our driver to show up....waited for 20 minutes total. Yes, we did get there 10 minutes early, so only actually 'waited' 10 extra minutes. But, once again dh had to go in search of the driver. He was parked along the far end of the drive up to BW...not anywhere close to the area we had been told to wait. And where others were being picked up by their towncars!!!
And, when we had asked if we were going to stop for our grocery stop, the answer was..."Oh, no stores open today...it Thanksgiving!" But, when I made the reservation I was told that there would be at least a conveinence store to stop at....it was only 11:00, so there should have been something open!! I wouldn't have minded so much if I hadn't been reassured when booking that we could stop, even though it was Thanksgiving Day.
So, in the future, if I don't use DME, I will most likely go back to Tiffany. Sorry FL Tours, but twice I have used you guys and twice there has been an issue.

Goofy4tink, thanks for the info, as I'm getting ready to book my limo for next month.
And you say you never had any problems with Tiffany?

Oh, I just wanted to add that on our last trip, Tiffany was awesome: our flight was supposed to arrive at 10 pm into MCO, but we were very delayed. I had called Tiffany from O'Hare, and told them my name and that I had a reservation that day. Did they need my reservation number? He said, "Hi Jodie, no we don't need your reservation number. We see your flight is late. Don't worry, we're tracking your flight, and we'll be there to pick you up."

Cool. We arrived at 1:45 am into MCO, 3 hours and 45 minutes late, and we were one of the few people who had a driver there waiting for us at baggage claim. (And no, there was no extra charge.) Bonus.

No, I haven't. I have heard that they have changed hands though. You could do a search on this board and see what others have been saying. When people have had a less than steller experience, they will post it, that's for sure.
Back in '01, when we first used TT, our drivers name was Don. I had heard of him on a lot of the internet boards. When I mentioned it to him, he said...'Oh, those boards!! You people sure do know your stuff. Keep me on my toes!!" Sadly, he is no longer driving.

We have used Fl tours several times and have always had good service. Our driver has never been late and once when our flight was atleast a hour wait they were there at the airport when our flight arrived.

There are a lot of very happy customers of FL Tours here....as it should be since they are a board sponser. I just like to be able to provide some 'alternate' experiences. There are no companies out there that have a 100% perfect satisfaction rate. I'm always happy to hear that FL Tours has done a good job!!!
