Florida resident discount

How much is the FL resident discount? I was talking to a Disney person yesterday and they said my resident parents could book our room, but they didn't have the discount code that far out yet. Is there some average of how much the discount actually is and if it is worth waiting for?

The Florida Residents Discounts are usually very close to the AP discounts maybe a few dollars more per night. If you parents book you a room they will have to be there at check-in.

AP=Annual Pass

Sometimes, Disney offers room discounts for both Florida Residents and Annual Passholders. There is quite a group of us waiting for summer AP rates to be released. Any day now, we hope,...........

Just keep in mind that your parents will also need to be traveling with you, staying at the same resort for the same dates in order for your room to be eligible for the resident discount.
