Florida mall and Universal for non drivers

What is the easiest way to get to Universal Studios and Florida Mall without driving? We are going to these destinations on different days and there is just two of us. We are staying at pop century? Would Taxi be the best, i presume that would be quite expensive. If there are bust services how much and how long are they? Please help.

There's a sticky thread at the top of this forum about getting to Universal.

At the moment, there is a public bus from TTC & DTD to Florida Mall. It is Link 111, and costs $2 a person each way. Info is at golynx.com. However, that bus is being discontinued as of 12/16/2012.
