Hello

Just thought I'd send an update about my upcoming holiday in Florida. The holiday was originally going to be in September this year but me and the family (mum, dad and brother) had to move the holiday to November next year instead which would give us more time to save up for it which will be worth it. We won't be at the Enclave Suites like we were 2 years ago. This time we'll be at the Sonesta Suites a bit further down the road on International Drive which will be awesome as they have transport for both Disney and Universal. We'll also be using Florida one tickets to get in all the parks and register for the free Fastpass as well which will be fun.

I had a look at how the weather is in November and how busy it would be in all the park and its said to be a bit cooler than in September which is good and the crowds don't get busy till Thanksgiving week which I'm ok with as we come back home on the second day of Thanksgiving week anyway lol. We'll also be using Florida one tickets so we could use

I heard that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is on while we're there so we might check that out maybe just the once. Not sure if the one tickets will cover that but me and my brother are will to pay for all of us so we can all go. I also heard that Scrooge McDuck appears at MVMCP which will please my brother even though he is 32, he is a big fan of Scrooge and loves Ducktales :)

I'm sure this holiday will be better than the last visit two years ago as during the second week of that holiday, I was very ill and tried my best to enjoy the rest of the holiday but felt drained which did kind of ruin the holiday for me :(. It was not till we got home when we found out it was Chickenpox after visiting a walk-in centre in the early hours of Sunday morning and was admitted into hospital for 3 and a half days.

I'm still glad that horrible experience with Chickenpox is all over and can look forward to going back to Florida next year for a much better holiday.:hyper:

Sounds like you are exited :goodvibes

With regards to tickets you can almost certainly get tickets cheaper than the "one ticket'" as that is just an agent bundling the separate tickets for one price as there are no single tickets that cover all the parks.

What parks are you planning and for how many days and we can give you an idea of tickets you can look at :thumbsup2

Regarding MVmCp that is a separately ticket event so you will have to buy those on top of whatever other tickets you end up with.

I agree with Tracy, the one tickets are more for convenience rather than economical reasons. If you let us know what parks you want to visit, we can make recommendations for tickets that will suit your plans and hopefully save you some money.

While I'm sure you are disappointed to have had to move your holiday further out, at least you have given yourselves plenty of time to save so you can have an even more wonderful time :thumbsup2

That's when we'll be returning to WDW as well. I hope to go to MVMCP, we've done MNSSHP twice but never the Christmas party so I'm excited for that and all the changes since we last went in 2010 but mainly I'm excited to take my baby for the 1st time.

To answer your question about tickets for the parks, when me and the family booked our previous visits to Florida at First Choice, we bought from them the disney tickets that covered all the disney parks and the flexitickets that covered universal studios, islands of adventure, seaworld, wet n wild and aquatica for those two weeks.

For next years holiday, mum told me yesterday that the "one" tickets we're getting from First Choice covers both parks at disney and universal including the water parks, seaworld and busch gardens. She also said they are much cheaper than buying the disney tickets and the flexitickets we had before.

Don't worry, I'm not disappointed about not being able to go this year as I've got two holidays coming up anyway lol.

As for MVMCP, I don't mind paying a bit more to see that as I'm planning to save up 2000 quid for spends which should help cover it.

That's awesome that you're going in November next. We fly out with Virgin Atlantic on the 10th of November and come back on the 24th just in time to get ready for Christmas too. Yippee :):hyper:

Hiya,

We are flying out 2nd November '15.
Apparently it's jersey week (?) so gets a tad busier for a few days but hey ho!
