Florida Dining Tax

I'm working on our budget for next month. Can someone tell me what the dining tax is in Florida, and is it the same at sit-down restaurants as it is at counter service?

i believe it is 6.5%. that is what i use and it works fine. same at sit-downs and counter service. happy eating!

Orange County 6.5% tax across the board, Osceola County (DAK, WWoS, AllStars) 7% tax across the board (there is no distinction between a candy bar, McDonalds, a pair of shoes, or a four-course meal, as far as I know.)

Thank you, both! I really appreciate your help! It's funny how much taxes vary from state to state -- or in this case, from county to county. At least, now, I'll know what to expect.
