Looking to spend a week in the Florida Keys before our week at WLV in
April '06...Want to fly into Key West and drive back to Orl..Anyone know what airlines make that quick flight from MCO??
Delta Air Lines offers nonstop service between Orlando (MCO) and Key West (EYW). These flights are operated by Chautauqua Airlines as Delta Connection, using Embraer RJ135 Regional Jets
Continental Airlines also nonstop service between Orlando (MCO) and Key West (EYW). These flights are operated by Gulfstream International Airlines as Continental Connection, using Beechcraft 1900 aircraft, which are not jets.
United also sells the same Continental Connection flights under United flight numbers. As is often the case with codeshare service, the two airlines may charge different prices on exactly the same flights.

There are a limited number of flights in and out of Key West and they are usually on pretty small aircraft because the airport is very small. The fare is pretty high so I fly into Fort Lauderdale and drive down.
It is pretty funny as you taxi into the airport because there are a lot of vintage aircraft that call that airport home and it looks like you have flown into some third world airport.
