Flights August 2013

Hi,
This has probably been asked many times,but i would appreciate the help..can anyone tell me when Virgin release their flights for August 2013,and is that the best time to buy?Also what price would i be looking at if booked early,and do they have any sales at Christmas etc?Once again thanks

If you look on the VA website, you will see what dates they are currently selling to.

Yes they do have sales, but not usually for school holidays.

I expect them to be around 950, at opening, but who knows.

You just have to keep checking the price. Make sure you clear your cookies. The more people look at the prices the more they go up, as VA computers assume there is a lot of interest.

Also try complete Orlando and carter travel for a price too. Keep a track on prices using Kayak and sky scanner too. Good luck.


There is usually a price watch thread on here where people post prices. A little bit early yet maybe for it to be started.
Indirect will be cheaper.

Usually most scheduled flights are released 10 months in advance. Just as a thought, I always check BA and Virgin Atlantic websites to get the best prices, but this time i got the same VA flight on EBOOKERS and also NETFLIGHTS for just under £300 cheaper than virgin website. Worth checking, as they buy in the flights as soon as go on sale, and still have the cheaper flights when Virgin have sold out the lower fares x
