Hi all,

We have booked a return trip for next year, to SSR in October. Having just returned the parks were MUCH busier than last time I went in October (6 years ago) and now we are considering changing to late September instead next year. Does anyone have any experience over whether flight costs are roughly the same between Sep and Oct, as the prices aren't quite available yet for me to check?

Thanks :-)

Late September and October will be about the same for crowds.

Disney is just busier.

September flights will be the same price roughly as they cut the number of flights so demand stays high.

I've been doing a teeny bit of research online and it seems the days around the first weekend in Oct are usually busier because government staff usually get 4 days off work for Columbus Day? It certainly seemed the case for those days this year. I think we will probably move if there is availability for peace of mind.

Touring Plans had been reporting that August and September have been quieter than usual.... Then October happened!

I can't speak for next year but this year the first week of October was MUCH busier than the last week of September. Wait times on the headliners at least doubled (and in some cases more than tripled) between the beginning and end of our holiday.

I'm not sure who you're flying with but for BA the prices seemed about the same for both months in 2016.
