Hi everyone,
I am sure this has been asked but I have searched and not found a post so here goes...
I am currently trying to watch my weight (in moderation we all love a good Dole whip!lol)
And since all five in my family are vegetarian.... would the restaurants let us order an appetizer for an entree on the DDP?
For example since the appetizer is no longer included could I order a Caesar Salad at Scifi for my entree?
Has anyone had experience?
And in the past we could order a vegetarian burger for the kids and not have an issue if we add the plan will that be a problem? It just seems so much more convienient but if we have to eat a select number of things I would not do it.
Thanks everyone,
Have a wonderful day!Kristin.

You would have to ask at the restaurant. The best guess is that they would not allow substitution of an appetizer for a dessert, but might possibly allow it for an entree.

This is, however, just speculation until the 2008 plan actually goes into effect.

When we last went to DW, we had dining plan I made a note on all our res's that I wanted a veg meal - most places made something if they did not have anything on the menu (although most of the time it was just pasta and veg's)
Even if you do not have ADR's, it may be worth it to call ahead and see if they offer other options.
(BTW - You do know most places put anchovies in caesar dressing, right?)

If you plan on ordering an appetizer instead of an entree at most TS locations, then you may want to re-look at what a value the DDP will be for you and your family. Appetizers are roughly half the cost of the average entree.

Take a look at the menus here or on allearsnet and see what you think you'll order. Take a look at the prices and see how you make out with and without the plan.

:) Hi everyone,
Thanks for the advice, I think we will use the DDE after much deliberation it is not worth getting the dining plan.
And yes I am aware that caesar salad dressing does have anchovies, but a lot of restaurants are now using substitutes because of allergies and such.
But thanks for the heads up!
Have a great day
Kristin
