I got flamed once for posting a discount code on the budget code for Limited 2. I was pretty much told I didn't know anything about budgeting if I shopped at Limited 2. Whatever.

hey now! You can get some great deals at Limited Too with the TwoBucks! Of course, you have to shop there to GET those, but that's beside the point!

ETA...around Christmas time, people are posting and begging for American Girl codes left and ride. I suppose it's ok to buy an expensive doll from American Girl, but Limited Too is off limit (pun intended! )

As a newbie, I'd read a few threads about ECV use in the parks, and that some people who appeared healthy enough to walk (but actually had a hidden medical condition) were being glared at or accused of being lazy. Also anybody overweight was assumed to use the ECV because they are lazy (never mind that they may have become overweight due to another condition that disabled them.) I was sympathetic and honestly don't think people use an ECV unless they need to. They're slow and cumbersome, and apparently generate a lot of animosity!

Anyway, my local paper ran an article on an ECV rental company near WDW who was encouraging healthy, able folks in their ads to rent the ECV to 'save your energy' and not be so exhausted at the end of the day. I was surprised by the article, and (in my naivete) thought others might be interested in reading it as well. So I posted a link to it. BOY, that was a mistake! I was accused of being a troll who posted the article just to make trouble!

I got some deserved Flames for my Jesus Saved My Life thread..I worded it poorly and really came off badly.It was supposed to be a joke title spawned from another thread .,but not everyone got the joke. Mea CUlpa.It turned into a great thread eventually,but I really felt awful about it for a while. I still feel bad about that one actually

I got flamed for feeding my family spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner on the cheap dinners thread. All I was doing was giving my family carbs to fill them up and not caring about their health. A similar low cost recipe was suggested, something that if given to the neighbor's dogs next door, they would turn their noses and walk away.

Oh yeah, you got flamed real good on that one. But that was the most brilliantly handled flaming, how you managed to slowly turn that one around to become a thoughful thread was amazing.
