My DH has invited his brother and nephew, who live in Florida to meet us at Disney for a day. We would like to pay for their admission. Can their tickets be purchased in advance, or will we have to meet them at the gate?
Depends on what park you are planning on visiting or if they are meeting you at the park or at the hotel. If you stay onsite you can have them meet you at the resort and you can purchase the tickets there. Otherwise if you are meeting them at a park like I said depending on which one and what time there may not be to bad of wait at the ticket counter. I think MK is the most crowded but then again if you hit it at the right time there might not be a line.
Don't take my word on it but I THINK you can buy your ticket online for one day if you are a florida resident and get the discount. Then you can give them the online copy receipt that you need to take to guest services and they can turn it in for their tickets. That way you have paid for the tickets but they go to guest services and provide their florida drivers licenses.
My mom bought one day tickets for her and my grandma when we went to see my little sister sing in the candlelight processional last year.
