"Five's a Crowd" (June 15th-24th) (June 23rd added on 9/3 pix included)

We're doing Sea World's Waterpark next year.

I love Uno's there no place near us anymore that is open.

We went to Uno's as well:thumbsup2 , the night before we left :(...The Pizza is Awesome. We ordered more then we needed to have leftovers in the car on the way home for that long dreaded ride.

Which one did you too? The one close to DTD? We went to that one, it was pretty close to our hotel.

I went to the one in Kissimissee.

Hey Girl. I sure do love the looks of that room and view at the Poly. I really want to stay there some day. I am debating between there and Beach Club when we go next May after our cruise. Dis you love it. How was the transportation? Dis you have more trouble with buses after that MGM fiasco, or was it an isolated incident? And did you get to talk with anyone about it?

I love it, it's my favorite hotel at Disney. The transportation was good, the only problem we had was that one day with MGM. I didn't get to talk anyone just yet, they did give me an email and such to contact someone. I started a letter but haven't had time to finish it yet.

Enough with the DIS already! :lmao:

Rob was thinking about the Poly for next time also. My heart belongs to the Yacht Club. Our pockets belong to the value resort! :rotfl2: We will make it work for next time though to one of the 2!

The sad part is I didn't really mean to do that. I just can't type without looking at my fingers and I sometimes try to and this is what happens!:lmao:

Good start it sounds like fun. I love the view from your room. Awesome!!!

I'm here... Late of course.... Funny thing is, in life I'm never late... Apparently just on the DIS!

And for the record, I've never even heard of Uno's. I thought that was a card game????

Great start Mandy!

Unos is known for chicago style deep dish pizza. It is a card game too.

mandy, sub. Will read this in the morning when I have time to. Have to give the puter back to hubby.

We have yet to go to Sea World. Maybe next year as we are thinking about just going to the beach and staying in Cape Canaveral.

I have childhood nightmares about Sea World, and they all came back last year when we returned. :lmao:

Back around 1978 - we went from NJ to Florida in a Winnebago with a popup trailer attached.. IN AUGUST.... our family of six slept in the popup, my aunt's family of four in the Winnebago. (they owned both - we were the poor relations. lol)

Suffice it to say I will NEVER go camping again - and NEVER have, 30 years later.. lol (I will be fair, and say that once we GOT to Disney, Fort Wilderness was lovely... it was the getting there and back that was horrific!)

Anywhooo..

My family are water lovers, my aunt's famiily are not...

On by far the HOTTEST DAY EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND, my aunt and uncle plan a trip to Sea World - all we wanted to do was swim at the Poly. (In those days, you were permitted to "pool hop" if you were staying on property.)

We had the absolute worst time at Sea World - it was hotter than hot and EVERY show had us in the direct sun. We have one photo of the four of us kids in front of the Welcome to Sea World sign- and we looked like we were being tortured and starved. (it really is a funny photo, as I think about it! "YOU WILL HAVE FUN!")

Last year, Dana pleaded with us to go to Sea World. I thought - "come now - 30 years - they must have done something to cool the place off..." NOPE!
We pick the SECOND HOTTEST DAY EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND...
I thought I would die. We didn't see everything Dana wanted, because at one point I looked at Bob and said, "get me out of here, NOW, before I die."

We got back to the Dolphin and I sat by the pool with a rummy drink and called my sister to let her know that, "30 years later - Sea World is STILL HOTTER THAN YOU KNOW WHAT!"

ok - I'm done - Mandy, you may continue with your TR.....

:rolleyes1

It wasn't to hot this year the day we went. See Renee next year you need to go to the waterpark. It's like Discovery Cove but with slides and that.

Oh just wait this TR will only get better.

Not to sure about water slides anymore after Blizzard Beach! I just float in the "lazy river" or "bob" in the calm wave pool, but Bob & Dana did all the rides, except for "Summit Plummet"...

Dana has no "meat" on her - and as much fun as she had with all the slides - she was walking very gingerly with a lot of tailbone pain!! She wasn't very comfortable during her riding lesson this week! ouch! :sad2:

They have a lazy river with tropical fish.

I just want to try it out and see how it is. I'm not a fan of BB or TL except the lazy river.

Hi Mandy! Just stalking you TR, so far so good. Can't wait to hear more!!

Mandy this is great! We loved the dolphin nursery at SW when we went last January. I think we stayed there about 30 minutes...we went 1st thing in the morning and we were the only ones there except the trainers for the 15 minutes...the dolphins were sooo playful!

Sounds like this will be a fun trip report! Did you know there is an Uno's at the Nashville airport? I don't know why I'm telling you about it because it really should be named something else because it is no where near as good as the real restaurant. ;)

I had it back in '06 when we flew out of Nashville and it was not good. I've had so much better, reminded me of Pizza Hut.

I'll have another part up tomorrow. This weekend has been very lazy for me and I finally have my room back to myself.
