Congratulations! My husband was trying to fax his release papers in today but the fax didn't go through so he will hand deliver tomorrow. He was home on leave for a few days and had to go back today...just got the email last night after we got home from a hockey game (Senators beat the Caps!) and found out he got the civilian job he applied for. He will be out as of the end of Feb!

DH just celebrated the 1 year since he started his terminal leave, it goes quickly. So are you going to be looking for a job or doing the SAHM thing for awhile?

Been doing the SAHM thing for now - it was SO nice to not have to shuffle around for childcare over the Christmas holidays!! Pulling down wallpaper, repainting rooms, etc.

I've been looking on and off for a job, but I'm on hold for a bit now, as MIL might have some medical issues that would require me to be available for her. I'm holding off on a job until we know for certain about that - no need to start something then have to leave.
