Five Guys Hamburgers.

The reason I am sitting at my computer this evening is from getting sick eating at Five Guys at lunchtime this afternoon. I think the mushrooms for the topping were spoiled-It's been a looonnnggg time since I've been in that much stomach pain.

It was my second visit-the first was disappointing but wanted to try it again. After today, I won't be back. The nearly $7 paid for a mini burger, fries, and a glass of water is ridiculous also.

Ohh I hope you feel better soon. Have you taken anything? Maybe some tums or alka seltzer something like that.

I love the In-n-Out burgers when I'm on the west coast. Since they are building a warehouse in Dallas I'm hopeing they will come up to my neck of the Interstate. LOL

I'm not overly fond of hamburger meat so those thin burgers are just my style.

And love the fries.

I saw a Five Guys in Orlando at the outlet mall???? I didn't try it but we're going to Texas this weekend and there are two Five Guys near where I'll be. We might have to have lunch there Sunday. (Saturday night is already claimed by Uncle Julio's). My mom loves burgers and I'll eat hot dogs so we might just have a new lunch on the road spot.

Yum - sounds good! We don't have one anywhere near us, but my parents have one in their town. Maybe next time we're up there we'll have to give it a try!

Five Guys moved into an adjacent town last spring and from the moment they arrived, the parking lot has been full. DH is out of the country so I decided to give their cheeseburger a try. It is now September and the lot is still full and people were lined up to the door. I ordered a cheeseburger with everything and what a huge mistake! It was one of the best burgers I have ever had and I am afraid it could be the beginning of an addiction. Furthermore, they have french fries made with raw potatoes, not frozen and serve malt vinegar at the condiment counter. Those I resisted but it was extremely difficult. I am glad that they are a bit out of the way.

I don't eat hamburgers, but I love, love their fries!!!!

Bottle of Tums on my desk-I now know where I can eat if the system needs a good cleaning before the next colonoscopy.

I personally think that In-N-Out is better. The pricing is much more budget friendly as well. Plus they have awesome chocolate shakes.

uh oh, five guys has limp fries???

Limp fries are not my favorite and my mom won't eat them at all.

5 guys is absolutely, insanely good. Get the small of the burgers. Seriously, it is huge. The fries are sooooo good. Malt vinegar :lovestruc. I get my burger with lettuce, pickles, A-1 and mayo.

I like them, but won't eat them often. Maybe once or twice a year. I learned the hard way to order a "little burger". I ordered a "burger" the first time, and ended up throwing half of it out. Two patties?? YUCK!

I get mine with just lettuce and I was like :scared1: DELICIOUS!!!
I had cajun fries and they are HOT [duh, cajun] but OMG SO GOOD.

psssst... sign up with Marketforce.com and you can get paid to eat at Five Guys! :lmao: Seriously, I'm going to a local one tomorrow and I have to restrain myself to keep from scheduling them more than twice a month. :rolleyes1

I always thought malt vinegar on fries was a Jersey boardwalk thing but I guess there are other parts of the country that like it, too! Now I'm hungry.

The key to Five Guys fries is to dump them out of the cup and into the bag after you've taken out your burgers. We have one here in town, and they are pretty tasty!

Just got word we have one opening in B.R. CAn't wait to try , and thank goodness their location will be about 20 mins away. The distance will keep me from going every week !

Oooh, I really had no idea there was online ordering! Crap, I'm a lazy gal..that'll make it more tempting to order from there.

Five Guys=mmmmmm :lovestruc

We have one right next to campus, and I went there for the first time two weeks ago. It was amazing!

But the fries are too much to eat. Even with the regular size I could only eat about half of the overflow of the cup...:lmao: (and this was after my first marching band game too)

Thanks guys... now I am craving it.

It's on the far side of town, about a 20 min drive. Gonna have to find someone to go with (I hate eating out alone).

Little Cheeseburger with Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard, Tomato, and Grilled onions and a regular fry with Malt Vinegar. Yum yum!

I love Five Guys. It is one of my weaknesses (along with chic-fil-a and both are in the same parking lot here). I love the little bacon burger with A-1 sauce, tomato, and lettuce, yummmmm. The fries are good too. Although I only get them when I go with someone else since the serving is huge. But I love them with malt vinegar and dipped in ketchup. They also carry Gold Peak Tea so it is like heaven for me.

Mmmmmmmmm I think I might need to go there for lunch soon.

The burgers are bland and are high in calories, too. I don't care much for them. The Cajun fries, however, are excellent and worth a stop. (Yeah, I know those are fattening, too, but the flavor on the fries is worth the splurge -- the burgers not so much.)

I lived in Maine when I was little where we always ate our fries with vinegar.

For sure!:thumbsup2

Tucson's first Five Guys is due to open any day now. We'll defintely have to try it, but I'm sure there will be long lines for quite awhile.

We have fallen in love with In N Out Burger here. The burgers are very, very good and the fries are superb. All fresh, nothing frozen. And where else can you order a burger "animal style" or your fries "light" or "well done"?

There is an In N Out Burger about a mile from our house. Dangerous!

Dawn- if you travel about 25 minutes more to Northampton you will find Local Burger, which serves the best burger I've ever eaten:thumbsup2
