Five Guys Hamburgers.

I ate here for the first time yesterday and was NOT impressed at all. 6 bucks for the bacon cheeseburger??? It wasn't that great in my opinion. Our whole meal, which 4 of us shared 2 burgers, fries, and 2 drinks was almost $20!!! I like Culver's way more and for the same price if all 4 of us get our own burger. Very surprised on all the hype this chain is getting. We will NOT be returning EVER to any 5 Guys resturant. Two thumbs way down from our family of 4 and my parents.:sad1:

We just got a 5 guys in Scottsdale a couple months ago. It was good and you get a lot of fries...but in all honesty...we like In n Out burger better....and InandOut is half the price.

It was $19 for 2 burgers, 1 fries, 1 coke. Its about $9 at INOut with 2 drinks and 2 fries....

just our opinion:goodvibes

Same here, we prefer In-N-Out. Folks who like Five Guys should try In-N-Out at least once when they're out west. It's based in SoCal, but has locations throughout the west, including Las Vegas and San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf).

Ours doesn't have peanut shells on the floor but they do have peanuts right when you walk in.

And to those that say they prefer In-n-out, I do too but right now we don't have them here. I just heard that we will have a couple in Texas really soon and I can't wait! :goodvibes

I love 5 guys and in and out - but New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood is really great.

One is opening TWO BLOCKS from my home. I am going to eat through the entire menu.

It is also going to have a coffee and beignet bar. I think I may be living there.

I never heard of them until I read this thread. Googled it and closest one to us is over an hour away. BUT...there is one in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 3 miles from a concert we are going to in March. Guess where we will be eating lunch at? :)

Doesn't sound bad at all, but if we're talking chain burgers in New Orleans, the classic experience is Bud's Broiler. (And, of course, we must make special mention of the hand-crafted masterpieces at Port of Call.)

I hear John Besh has a pretty special burger at Luke, but I haven't tried it yet; there are other things on his menu that appeal to me much more.

I've only eaten at NO Hamb. and Seafood once and gotten drive thru once. The food was great. This one on St. Charles Avenue is going to be more upscale. It will be the first one with a bar. No drive thru.

I've eaten at Luke a few times. I'm pretty sure I never ordered the hamburger. Food was great.

Bud's Broiler and PofC are great - but this one is going to be 2 blocks from my house!
