Fitness Centers at DVC resorts

Hi Everyone,
I'm going to SSR next week for my first DVC experience. Now, I see on the website it has a SPA and a Fitness facitily. My question is about the Fitness area. Is that included in your stay? Or is there a fee you have to pay? It looks like a HUGE facility and my guess is I have to pay, but I figured I would ask on here and see if anyone knows.

Oh and my flight leaves tomorrow morning.....visiting grandma 1st, but will be checking in on Monday!!! Can't wait!!!

The fitness center at OKW is free to guests. My daughter has used it many times for free. I would think the one at SSR would be free also.

Oh thanks for the update Pa@okw95, I haven't stayed at any of the other DVC resorts so I wasn't sure. That is a nice feature! I will definitely have to use the facilities. They look really nice from the pictures. I will let everyone know how it is when I get back.

the fitness centers are free at all resorts if you are a DVC member. I've them used OKW and BCV. It is a nice perk as they do charge a fair amount at BC if you were to be paying for it.

stuff you are on holiday,use the steam rooms etc for relaxation.

I stayed at OKW in April and used the facility. But, I found it was way below par. So, I hoped in the car and went over to my home resort (BCV) daily for my work out.

At BCV they charge 25.00 for non-dvc guests - but - it was free to me and everyone else in our group.

I am hoping to try the spa at SSR because they say it is so nice.

I would also like to try the GF facility as I hear that is nice as well. But, I am not sure our membership allows us to use that one. Does anyone know?
