when i was younger my mom sister and i used to go to fitchburg to visit my mom's best friend. once there me and her son would go walking around the neighborhood and stuff. i think i remember there being a juvenile hall there...am i right or is my imagination making things up?
i remember walking past a church with beautiful stained glass windows and my friend pointing out a couple of the windows that had been broken by the boys in the juvenile hall.
i also remember going for a walk by myself once and running into one of the boys who was playing ball. the only reason i remember this is because i will NEVER forget the face of that boy. he must have been a few years older than me, he had long hair and the most intense (i mean , INTENSE) eyes ever. we talked for a LONG time...
please tell me i'm not remembering things that never existed...

I spent years in the Fitchburg/Ashburnham area 1962 to 1981, and none what you mentioned rings a bell. Especially the juvenile hall. We locked up all our juvies in Worcester.

was there a correctional facility or safe house or halfway house or anything like that for juveniles?
