Fishing

Has anyone ever done the fishing excursion through Disney before? I was thinking about booking it for my husband and his cousin and wanted to know if it is worht it. Do you know how much it cost? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance

My first trip to WDW was to film a show on the fishing. The fishing is pretty good. Nice size bass. They don't fight as well as our northern bass but I would say give it a try. We fished with top water and jigs but I think they really like using shiners.

Our neighbors just got back and they went on the two hour fishing exursion and absolutely loved it. They departed from the Wildernes and had their own pontoon boat with guide. Mostly bass fish but the catch and release policy provides for some big fish. I doubt most fish stories but he had video to back up their fishing trip. Myself and DW, DD7 and her cousin are going next Wed the 28th I'll let you know how we make out. The cost is $250.00.

I suggest that you listen to some of the old podcasts on this site. In the summer, there was one that had a detailed review of the fishing trips at WDW

Friends of ours did it last year. He enjoyed it but you had to be at the dock at 6am - hmmm not my idea if fun! But hey if you're into fishing, have fun!
