This may not be the right board, but I wanted to read others' experiences with the fishing excursions. We booked one for Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Have never done it myself, but I have seen many fishing trips launching and returning over my many trips to Ft. Wilderness.

Looks like a bunch of happy folks to me.
(And the people coming in have had fish with them.)

There have been a couple of threads about this recently. Try searching for "fishing excursions" or "fishing charters" on this forum and you should be able to bring them up. We're thinking about doing a fishing excursion in August (well, DH is thinking about it) and I have read nothing but positive comments. Have fun!

Thank you! I'll report on it when we return. It's booked for next week.

My Dh and DS have done this a couple of times and have another planned for our trip in April - for them its a must do...They are strictly catch and release - but my DS Daniel probably caught at least 15 fish last time....he said he was getting them one after another - my DH fishes a little but mostly talks to the captain and just enjoys the morning. This trip will be an excursion out of the Coronado Springs where they use plastic worms....doesn't matter to either of my guys...

We go on a fishing excursion on every trip; mostly recently in Dec. 05. In fact we went twice on this past trip - once over at the Epcot area and once on Bay Lake. We love these trips - my husband for the fishing, myself for the fresh air and relaxation (though we both do fish). We have always had excellent guides who really want you to catch fish. In "real" life, my husband fishes, I don't, but we both always have a ball on these trips. Enjoy!

Please let us know how your excursion is out of Coronado Springs. My DH took one out of Boardwalk in November, but we are staying at Coronado this June, so he would like to go somewhere close if possible. Also if anyone has any experience with the fishing in the summer please post. Does the fishing get much slower with the warmer temperatures.

Thanks,
Brenda

Does anyone know the prices of these excursions? We've never done one in all the times of being at Disney World. My hubby loves to fish, so this is something he would really enjoy! Tink :goodvibes
