Fisher Price Papasan Swing $65 on Baby universe

Found this deal at fatwallet.com's hot deals site...the above FP papasan swing for around $64 which is half the price it usually runs for and with free shipping at babyuniverse.com. I've been wanting this swing for ages...hope it helps if my daughter (yet to be born) needs it!

Please don't take this as anything but helpful, but......
Make sure you keep ahold of your receipt, etc just in case. My sister just bought this for her newborn in October and had to return three of them before she gave up on it and got a completely different swing. The mechanism gave out all three within a short time frame (week to two weeks). Hopefully she just had bad luck (not sure this is a nice thing to say?), and that no one else has as much trouble with these.

Hmmm, that certainly is bad luck. I've always had good luck with FP products. In fact, my twins turn 2 tomorrow and I just threw their Ocean Wonder Aquarium Take Along Swing out the other day because they both got in it together and broke the seat. It was one of the many infant toys that we bought for DD to have in the NICU. They've played with it all along. In fact, they had gotten big enough to turn it on by themselves and get in it. They are like 23 and 30 lbs and the motor had enough power to swing them (one at the time, not together).

Hmmmm..just a heads up...looks like they are back ordered a couple of weeks...have just found out that maybe baby universe is reknown for doing this - advertising at a low price and then saying something is backordered...so I'm warning people about it...will post if/when I get the swing!
