My son will be 4 also on the cruise. I am glad to see a couple of kids his age.

So. Anyone who is worried about not getting/making enough stuff. If you are getting a small little thing like duckys, buy an few extra. If you are worried about not making enough I would suggest making the stuff for the number of cabins and buying a few little trinkets to give if anyone is very late, or if you just see someone who has an FE and is not on the list. Did that make sense?

So I have my fish extender and its really cute. But it didn't come with the dowel and dowel caps. Where's a good place to get them? Does anyone know where to get the Mickey dowel caps? Do you use ribbon to hang them with? I know about the twist-tie things, but since ours is very personalized, I don't think anyone will want to pilfer it. What's the suggested width on the dowels? Thanks for all the techie help

Please add my DS and DBIL to the list of people participating in the FEs. They will be in Room 5138 and their names are Robin and Mike. She doesn't have a tag name yet, but she reads the boards. She just hasn't joined in posting yet. Thanks! Can't wait to get on that cruise and I am so excited about the FEs. I've been thinking and thinking of something different to put in all of them. Still thinking, but my DD and I love crafting and we will come up with something. She is going to make our FE for us because she sews and I don't.

I am not sure were people get the Mickey ends. I think I hear someone say they used antenna tops. The dowels are available at Michaels and JoAnns. I am thinking about making Mickey ends with different size wood balls and hot glue. I haven't made the FE so I figure I better do that first.

Somehow I have the wrong cabin number on the official list. I just signed up my DS and DBIL in cabin number 5138 and my DH and I (btrim) are in cabin 5136. I am not sure if that is totally right, because I made both reservations and on our paperwork, it just says that we are in cabins 5136 and 5138 and our names are not assigned to a specific one yet. Anyway, to try and not make this confusing please but btrima nd DH in Cabin 5136 and DS(Robin) and DBIL (Mike in Cabin 5138. Thanks! Now I am off to try and find the like to the directions someone posting for making the fish extender itself. Wish me luck!

I'm trying to design our FE. Mom's helping me sew it...but I need to figure out the embellishments. I got DH to pick out a "theme" for it but I need to figure out how to Disney-fy it. The theme he chose has NOTHING to do with Disney.

it may hang over an inch or 2 - think that will be a problem?
