I too would like a 60 day cut off. My fear is that 30 days is just not enough time to prepare.

Laura:hourglass

Hi All, have voted in the poll, and would like to vote for a minimum 45 day maximum 60 day cut off. I want to be prepared, and not overwhelmed by last minute things. Thanks Wanda :thumbsup2

Hi! This is our first Disney Cruise and we are super excited. We are one family, but have 2 cabins. We would loke both cabins to participate. Is that a problem?
We would have both cabins do gifts for the rest of the participants.

1st Cabin: Mike-43(Husband), Margaret Ann-40(Wife), Aiden -5(Son)

2nd Cabin: Joan -66(Grandma), Daniel -13(Son), Katie Beth-12(Daughter)

We are celebrating my 40th birthday and our daughter's 13th birthday!

Thanks,
Margaret Ann

Hi Margaret,

Added your info to the 2nd post, please look it over.

Both Cabins can be a part of the FE group no problem. I notice you did not give Cabin numbers. Did you want to keep that private or just forget? Send me a pm with the cabin numbers or post them here. :-)

Thanks.

Hi!

I was looking for the current list in Post 2 and couldn't find it? Could only go back as far as post 10?

How many cabins are we up to now? Have we reached any cut-off number or date consensus?

Thanks!!

I only count 25, but its around that size at the moment. The cut off Date will be Feb 1st (6 weeks out).

Group size will be somewhere between 20 and 30 depending on if we have to split up the group or not. (see how many more people sign up in the next few months)

122 Days to go!!!!

*edited to add that I just can't count, its indeed 28 right now :-)

Hope I'm not too late to join the party!

Hi!

Mike - did I give you our names and cabin numbers for the master FE list? I know my friends' preferred not to post that info here on the DIS boards.

Cheers

Karen

Hallo Again,

I am in a bit of a quandary. I want to order some FE components from abroad. February will be too late to do this. I am thinking perhaps I could just base my numbers for this on the existing 28 cabins since it seems likely the group may eventually get split? Would it be too terrible if families that join later just get slightly different gifts? I would appreciate any and all feedback.

Thanks!!

The decision has been been pretty much made by Mike to split the groups into sets of 25 cabins, I think. It's up to you what you give people, and I really doubt if people in your group would compare gifts to make sure they got the same things, so go ahead and get what you want. If you end up need to give different things to different people/cabins, no one should care because it really is all about what you decided to give.

Hey Karen,

Yes, I have all the names for all 3 cabins. I have them listed as private and will only be shared on the final list to be posted on facebook. Did you want me to add any info here?

Mike

I think your plan is fine. You could give each cabin a different gift if you really wanted to. :-)

As far as the group size goes, the target size for the split will be 25 rooms. Now if our total size does not split into 25 nicely, we could be plus or minus a few rooms. My guess right now is it will be somewhere between 20 and 30 rooms per group. Now I know some people will want to give gifts to both groups and thats fine as well.

Can't wait for this trip. :-)
