First WDW visit should I rent a car?

I say thumbs up to a rentla car

I say thumbs down to spell check, some people are just so freakin rude :snooty:.

A couple of things come to mind:

If you have dinner/lunch reservations at other hotels, having your own transportation is soooo much easier than transferring busses/boats, etc. But if you only have a couple of hotel reservations, you can take a taxi.

Since this is your first trip to WDW having a car can be overwhelming. The busses will get you everywhere you need to go. I think having one less thing to worry about will allow you to enjoy your vacation more.

I guess it depends on where you're staying, if you have a lot of reservations at different resprts, etc.
My DH and I are kinda impatient and with 2 small kids, strollers, bags, etc. we drove around WDW on our trip and it worked out great for us. We had a AAA pass and got to park pretty close at the parks and ended up driving to several different resorts for dinner, look around, etc.
We're the type of people that just want to get up and go, when we want to go so it's worth it to have a car and not complain.
Driving around is confusing but the signs helped us a lot.
:)

If we dont rent a car, we take a towncar to our resort so we can have a grocery stop...

And any early ADR's we flag a cab :-)
