There is definitely something for everyone. Whenever I am in the parks, these are always my must dos, that are a bit different from what most people would say, as I do not like big roller coasters (ToT, Rockin Roller Coaster, lol)
1. Magic Kingdom
- My ALL TIME FAVORITE Disney Attraction is
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, I canNOT go to MK and not ride this, I love it SO much.
-
Festival of The Fantasy 3:00 Parade- My favorite parade Disney has ever done, I always make sure I get a front row spot at least an hour early, what I like to do is go to
Casey's Corner Quick Service Restaurant around 1:30, get my corn dog nuggets and fries and a drink for my lunch, and take my food out on Mainstreet, and stake out my front row seat anywhere from 1:30-2:00 for the parade. I have seen FoF numerous times and it NEVER gets old.
- I love going on the
People Mover in Tomorrowland, it's a great way to relax, sometimes the Cast Members let me stay on in 2-3 rounds without getting off.
-
Peter Pan, Small World, & Haunted Mansion are also rides I will hit up in the park.
- Not every time, but occasionally I like riding
Jungle Cruise & Splash Mountain, if you have never done it, definitely do these once, though if the weather isn't warn enough I tend to avoid Splash because I don't want to be cold & wet, haha. But for your first time, definitely try it once, same with
Mine Train, I don't always do this one since the line is long and Fastpasses are hard to get, but it is worth it to wait for at least once.
- Character wise, I always meet
Rapunzel in Princess Fairytale Hall, she's my favorite, and this is the only place in all of Disney you can see her. If I'm in the mood I will do the meet & greets for
Gaston & Peter Pan , as well. That is usually what my day consists of in MK.
2. EPCOT
- I always ride
Test Track,
Soarin', &
Spaceship Earth.
- Also in Future World, I hit up character spot to see Mickey, Goofy, & Minnie, now they have a second character spot across from the original where you can see Baymax, Joy & Sadness (haven't been to the 2nd one yet, it's newer since the last time I was there).
- I ALWAYS go to the Pin Store behind Spaceship Earth to get my pins for my trip, collecting, buying, & trading Disney pins is super fun for me, I got really addicted to it on my college programs lol.
- WORLD SHOWCASE- - - I always spend a ton of time walking World Showcase, just taking in all of the details of the country, you can shop and eat and see characters. Must dos for me are
Snow White in Germany, Belle in France, and Aladdin & Jasmine in Morocco, as I'm walking around the showcase area. There is also many great restaurants to try, too many to name, my personal favorite that I always book is
The Garden Grill.
3. Disney's Hollywood Studios
If you can't tell by my username, I am a massive Star Wars fan, so it goes without saying that this is my FAVORITE Disney Park. I basically love every single thing in this park OTHER than Tower Of Terror & Rockin' Roller Coaster, I don't like thrill rides, but that's okay, it just means I can ride
Star Tours and meet Chewie & Kylo Ren & Shop in Star Wars LAUNCH BAY, multiple times in a row, instead. Hahaha.
-
Toy Story Midway Mania is a great ride too, Toy Story is my favorite Pixar Movie, I always ride the ride and then
meet Buzz & Woody across the street afterwards, also
lookout for a Green Army Man or two wondering around Pixar Place!
-SHOWS: Hollywood Studios has a lot of awesome shows to watch, I would DEFINITELY LEAVE TIME FOR
Beauty & The Beast, Indiana Jones, Fantasmic! (My personal favorite Disney night show) and The Star Wars fireworks show that follows fantastic! (Obviously!)
- My favorite places to eat in Studios are
Lunch at ABC Commissary &
Dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe or Mama Melrose (Both are great), I also love going to the bar in 50s' (no reservation required) and ordering one of their amazing Milkshakes to go!!!
4. Disney's Animal Kingdom
This park, is usually only a 1/2 day park for me, but there are definitely some attractions that are NOT to be missed, the first being
-
FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING, THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST SHOW ON DISNEY PROPERTY. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT, you don't need a fastpass for it, just show up 20-30 minutes before the showtime and you will be fine, it is 100% worth any wait.
-
Rafiki's Planet Watch- this is a hidden gem, you have to take the
Wildlife Express Train from the back of the park near the Safaris to get to it, and
it closes early at 5:00 PM, so make sure you plan your day around that, go in the morning. There is so many things to do up there, you can
meet Rafiki, Chip & Dale, and they have a lot of exhibits that show how they take care of the animals, they also sometimes bring birds and stuff out so you can see them up close and they have windows where you can watch vets work on animals in the mornings (not everyday, but it's done quiet often)
-
Kilamanjaro Safaris is obviously a highlight of DAK. I recommend riding it early in the morning before it gets too hot, the animals are more active then, but now they have nighttime safaris, too so that is something new that i have yet to experience, definitely ride it more than once, it's always different!!!
-
Expedition Everest & Dinosaur are the other two rides I enjoy in Animal Kingdom.
- If you are a fan of
Pocahontas or Tarzan, Animal Kingdom is the only place you can meet them. See the park map and times guide for location and set time details.
-
Flame Tree BBQ is one of my favorite WDW Quick Service Restaurants, DEFINITELY TRY THIS ONE.
That was longer than i thought, lol, but these are my normal go-tos when I'm at Disney. If you have any questions, I will try to answer as best as I can
