First Visit Buttons?

Hi everyone!

In WDW, you can go to Guest Services and pick up a "first visit" button for free. Do they do the same thing at Disneyland?

if i'm not mistaken, you can get a free "1st Visit" button from City Hall on main street

Yes, NSmama is correct. All of the buttons are available for free at City Hall. Have a great time!

yay! i'm glad i know where to go to get my girls their "1st visit" buttons when we are there in october!

We took DS for his first visit when he was only 7 weeks old, and the entire resort was out of 1st Visit buttons, which I have since been told happens quite often.

If City Hall is out try over at DCA. And, if that fails, it doesn't hurt to ask at each gift shop you visit or just to strike up conversations with cast members along the way as they sometimes have a few stashed away.

I was really sad when they were out and none of the normal places had them. However, a wonderful CM (named Mary I think) in Fantasyland came over to talk to us on our last day of the trip and inquired why DS didn't have a button as it was quite obviously his first trip. She magically produced a button for DS and 2 Honorary Citizen buttons for DH and me. She totally brightened our day with both the conversation and the unexpected gift!

I'm having one delivered to my room from Vacation Planning.

Many of the CMs also have them. My son was sad that he was too short to ride a ride that his sister was going on. The CM asked if it was his 1st trip and them gave him a button. It made everything okay

The free special occasion buttons are also at the ticket booths in the Esplanade.

We got ours at the place where you look at the picts they take of you on Splash Mt. The CM were talking about how it was so cold out and we said we were from Canada and just left snow so it did feel cold for us. Then she reached under the counter and gave each of our 2 girls "First Visit" buttons and "Honorary Citizens" buttons.

Vacation Planning is a service that you have access too if you are staying on-site in one of the DLR hotels. You can order stuff like signature photos, buttons, gift baskets, souvenirs and birthday cakes to be delivered to your room. You can also have them do all your dining reservations and print out an itinerary for you.

You can get them many places. City Hall, the "Wait Time" info desk near the Hub, from many CM's (especially in places like the Emporium, Innoventions, restaurants, Dream Squad). Remember, if you keep it a secret that you are celebrating something, CMs won't know to surprise you with a button.
