First trip to Vero Beach

I'm making my second visit to Vero this May. I went 2 years ago with a friend who was a DVC member, and it was one of the reasons that I decided to buy DVC myself. I knew I loved WDW, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit myself to vacationing there for 54 years-and then I went to Vero. What an excellent place! So relaxing, and the CM's are just great.
Since then, I've also tried Hilton Head, and enjoyed that a lot too. So, after you try Vero, definately take a trip to HHI.

Our home resort is SSR, but we did 6 nights there in January on a split trip (we did 1st night SSR, down to VB for 6 nights, then a week back at WDW)

Pool was closed then (it re-opened after its 5yr refurb day after we left).

CM's were friendly (say Hi to i think its marion on the Front desk - blonde lady in her late 40/s / early 50's - she was fab ! - and ask her how her meal was at little fishes restaurant....)

It is very relaxing - and as for food - try the popcorn shrimp at bleachers (by the pool area). Very tasty !
