Hi everyone

I am a newbie here :)

Just booked our first trip ever to Disney land Paris on the 9th March!! I am soo excited about it have always wanted to go!!:woohoo:
I have two little ones, a 3 and a nearly 2 year old will be interesting to see how they like it. hubby thinks they might be too young to enjoy it but I say they will have blast.

We are staying at the hotel Cheyenne. Whats the hotel like? Will the bottom bunk on the bunk beds be too high for my little ones?

I have booked the princess meal for one lunchtime, my little girl loves the princesses - whats it like? any tips?

I have also booked cafe Micky for my son who LOVES Mickey mouse - any tips for here, got meal booked for 8.00pm read that you can still wait around a lot even if you have booked - should I book it for earlier?

and finally last question........for now!! ;)
What rides can my two go on? are there a lot of rides they wont be able to do?

Thanks for any help :flower3:

Ciao

My niece was 18 months old when she went, she loved it.

The bottom bunk should be fine for them, personally I would book an earlier meal at Cafe Mickey as then the children won't be too tired to enjoy it.

They will be definately be able to go on Its A Small World, Buzz, Storybook Ride, Cars there are many other shows they can go to. Depending on the eldests height they may be able to go on other rides.

The Cheyenne is a fab hotel, your little ones will love it.

As well as the rides mentioned above, your kids will be able to go on all the rides in Fantasyland (Dumbo, Tea Cups, Carousel, Peter Pan, Snow White, Casey Jnr)

Pirates of the Caribbean should be OK, and Orbitron

In the Studios, they'll be OK with the Magic Carpets and probably the Studio Tram Tour (we took our 9 month old on this and she was fine, but 4 year old DS was a bit scared).

If your DS loves Mickey Mouse, I'd defintely recommend Animagique in the Studios. It's mainly Donald Duck actually, but Mickey Mouse is on stage too and I'm sure he'd love it. Stitch Live would be pretty good for them too.

HTH and have a fantastic time.

welcome

your little ones will have a great time. my dd was 22 months her first trip and 26 months on her second and she is now a little disney expert. they will be in love with the place.

tbh i would book cafe mickey for lunch if possible. i have always ate there for lunch and it is much quieter and the kids get to spend more time with the characters. i would think that by eight they would be too tired to eat. my dd doesnt nap anymore but she napped every day in disney. it can be quite tiring for them.

they can do all the rides in fantasyland, buzz autopia and orbitron in discoveryland, phantom manor in frontierland and pirates of the carribean in adventureland.

a couple of the rides are quite dark and can be scary ie snow white and pinnochio. and there are two drops in potc. my dd loves all these rides but every child is different.

You will love the Cheyenne, out of all the Disney hotels I have stayed in its our fave.

You really do feel like your in the wild west, its amazing the themeing.

I booked cafe mickey for 8pm once and i would suggest to book it earlier, the characters were rushed and the place was packed out, we waited 30mins to get seated and didnt get our main till 9pm, best time to eat there is around 6pm or at lunch time.

hey I'm from Italy too :), my first trip to DLP will be the last weekend of March, enjoy your trip ;) and tell us all about it :)

Congrats! My two are both veterans of DLP and WDW and yours will love it!!

I do suggest though that you move your dinner to lunch as it is a sit down meal. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but my four year old refused to eat and said she was tired and we just wasted the food (which is lovely). she got grumpy, grandad got grumpy and we all grumped then!

Have a fabulous time, just let the little ones have some freedom and enjoy it through their eyes :-)

Thanks everyone :)

I took your advice and moved Cafe Mickey to 7.00pm, I would have prefered earlier but DH wouldn't have it!! men!! lol ;)
