We just returned from a three resort, eight night stay at WDW and can't wait to go back.
We stayed two nights at POP (DD choice), 4 nights in a Studio at BCV and 2 nights at WL (not the villas).
After reading so many negative things about BCV, we weren't sure what to expect. We had stayed at OKW in the summer and really loved it and were contemplating selling our BCV to buy at OKW. How glad we are that we didn't do that!
We checked in around 11:30 AM on Sunday (12/12) and our Studio was ready (yep, we got a Welcome Home from our check in person). Our only request was non-smoking and it was met. We had room 363 and really enjoyed our stroll to the elevator and then through the hallways.
We really liked the quiet, resting areas of BCV and the quiet pool was gorgeous. We went up to 363 and were pleasantly surprised that you could see Epcot across the road. You could see the ball, the Living with the Land Greenhouse and the back of Imagination.
Coming from POP, the Studio was a mansion. There was plenty of room for us (me, DW and DD) and lots of place for our DD to play with her Disney characters. We liked the size of the fridge and the location of the sink (as well as the amount of sink space).
Yes, the table had some scuff marks. But, so did the tables at POP and at Wilderness Lodge. Everything else was fine.
There were two reasons we bought into BCV over anywhere else: SAB and the walking to Epcot. We were not disappointed. It was chilly during our stay but we swam at SAB each day (our DD is a diehard) and the pool was great. We also not only enjoyed the distance to Epcot but also walked to MGM instead of the boat. It's a nice quiet stroll that sometimes is even quicker than taking the boat.
What can you say about finishing your lunch at Le Cellier and being back in your room in less than 15 minutes? Fantastic.
The bus transportation to MK (we used it for MVMCP) was wonderful but we couldn't imagine what it must have been liked when it was also shared with BW, Swan and Dolphin. Must have been a nightmare.
The Mixer was fun and our DD liked the cookies and Chip and Dale.
Our stay at BCV exceeded our expectations and we are now looking to add on about 50 points or so.
If there are any questions, I will be glad to answer.
