First trip....Feb 2012....Polynesian....Yay!

Oh well. You know what....I'm not going to change my plans over it. I would just like to know so I know what to pack. I mean, if I don't have to pack everyone's bathingsuits and coverups and all that jazz.....I will have more room for shoes

Pack them anyway. You may end up at a WP or another pool area. That way, you won't be upset if the pool IS open (and it was all hub-bub) and it's nice for a swim.

And just bring an extra bag of shoes.

I am so sorry about the Poly pool refurb... I would be equally as upset as you are. Seriously, I would try to call Disney back today - and if the person you are talking to doesn't know what is going on, I would ask to speak to someone who does. I agree, they should give you access to another resort's pool - and not the CR, since that isn't as great of a pool IMO.

I don't have too big of a shoe problem (ROFL) only bringing 4 or 5 pairs... Bags, OTOH, well, I plan to bring one for each park, if I can get them all finished on time... LOL

Yes Tikiman is like a FBI when it comes too all things Poly.. It's amazing. He also has me freaked about the refurb looking more like aulani!!!

Anyway call again. and again and again... I do. Call the poly itself. If you get another numbskull then ask for the General Manager. If still giving issues. CALL AGAIN!
Remember this is your trip!!!! You want the best trip! Don't change from the Poly... Please don't.

Yeah, but bags lay pretty much flat when not loaded, so you can fit more bags If I had your talent, I would bring a bag for each park too. Love them!

We had a snow day here today, so Bradey and I got everything packed that we can. Obviously there are some things we can't do til next week, but we are almost there! Love my new luggage. I hope it holds up, I have such horrible luck with luggage. I pretty much buy a new set every year! I am so nervous that I am going to forget something. It has been a long time since I have been somewhere other than my parent's place in Cape Coral. I have all my toiletries there, and most of the time they take my summer clothes down with them when they first leave and bring them back in April. So usually I don't have to pack much. This is going to be hard. The extended outlook weather looks like it will be nice most of the days, but only in the 70s. That is really great for me, but it means packing lots of options and layers.

Yay! I don't care. I can't wait!
