I have found that my MDE likes to change spontaneously

thanks! It was the first trunk or treat we'd ever done. We had a really good time and the girls got all hopped up on sugar--that's gotta be a success, right?

Good to know about MDE changing stuff. I read that it happened to someone else and she just waited and then they were there a few days later. Maybe there's some sort of glitch....I wish I was better at being patient!

I can't tell you how much we love that movie and Tiana is awesome! I can't tell if Maddie likes Tiana so much or just her big fluffy dress!

in love!.....has anybody else checked out the Vera Bradley bags that Disney released today? i'm not really a bag kind of person, but these.....are.....GORGEOUS! this may be my one big purchase when we're there. I am in love with them!



I mean, come on! who wouldn't love this?!?

magic bands.....I AM SO EXCITED!!! I just got to personalize our magic bands! mine is green, my DH's is blue, Hannah's is pink, and Madison picked yellow! and we are so close to being able to choose our fast pass selections too. maybe this magic band stuff isn't so bad after all!

That style came out last month (and I'd heard they were sold out at WDW, and didn't know when new shipments would be? But I'm thinking that may have just been as far as the initial release in Sept, cuz if they're on the website, I'm sure the parks have plenty)

i misspoke--they just released them on disneystore.com today. I could maybe get into carrying a purse if I had a Mickey one (hint, hint DH ). I love the colors in the December one!

The trunk or treat turned out great and we had tons of compliments on our decorations. Did i mention i even found disney candy to pass out?!? Cant tell you how excited i was about that! Thanks for the idea!

It's so funny because just this morning DH ordered the backpack and duffle for me for Christmas. I can't wait I love Vera Bradly bags and I love Disney so these are awesome! I want the hipster, smartphone wallet, and make-up bag also, but I have to control myself!

Love the photo mat idea! That's so cute and it will be a great keepsake to hang on the wall. It's probably going to be tough deciding what photo to use with it!

I remember going to Biergarten as a pre-teen and feeling really awkward about the shared seating, but hopefully your girls will not feel that way and they will definitely love the music and the dancers. I remember that being really awesome, even as a grumpy tween!

I know....we're getting PP and who knows how many pictures i'll have to choose from. i'm thinking one in front of the castle lit up at night, but i'm sure i'll change my mind SEVERAL times before I decide. i'm horribly indecisive!

lol! I wasn't too sure about biergarten because I don't really want to share a table with others! I just like to be able to chill out when we stop and eat and not feel like I have to chit chat with people the whole time. but, I think that's part of the experience there, so i'm sure it'll be all good.

i'm super excited about the dessert party too! i'd never heard of it until I got on the DIS. I've found so many great ideas on here!

I totally missed Toy Story of Terror. I'm hoping it's on demand so I can catch it!

i'm so excited for the fireworks and dessert show! I think the girls will love it since they'll actually get to see the fireworks and not be trying to see over people.

I still am undecided on getting the Vera bag now. i'm so indecisive! i'm afraid i'll find something when we're there that I like better....but I can see why they sell out--so cute! you know, I know they're only at Disney, but there's a Vera Bradley outlet right down from the Disney outlet.....I might have to stop by!

so is DH going to make you wait until Christmas to use your new bags? mine would just because he'd know it'd be tormenting me to know he had them but I couldn't use them!

thanks--we had fun doing the pumpkins. maddie did not like the guts and wouldn't touch them for anything, but she did like helping me cut out the shapes. Hannah and DH were like two peas in a pod doing their pumpkins--they both picked the same pattern, and took ffffoooorrrrreeeevvvveeerrr finishing up. He is such a perfectionist and Hannah loves to do whatever he's doing. it was nice bonding time for them!

Got a little behind on everything but all caught up now.

First of all awesome news on the S/P/D discount. We got our's too and it's so awesome to have that discount.

We are going to do the Tomorrowland Dessert Party also. I stalked the threads for months and then all of a sudden they released Dec-March all at the same time. I was on the phone in minutes to get that reservation. I guess they are going to do them at the 180 day mark now just like all the other ADR's. You will have to tell me how it is, we will be doing it for the first time this trip too.

I love the Tiana costume and there is nothing wrong with sparkly red shoes or shoes with swirls. Whatever works.

My DD is going as Ariel this year. I bought Merida and Tiana costumes at Walmart last year when they sold everything at 75% off so I paid like $2.00 for them. She didn't want to be either this year and pleaded to be Ariel. I figure we can take the Tiana and Merida costumes to Disney with us and she can wear them if she wants. Ahhhhh little girls and their choices.

Glad you were able to finally customize your magic bands to the colors you want.

that was such a good idea to get costumes when they were on clearance! and that totally sounds like something Maddie would do--want to be something other than what was planned! it is a hard decision to decide on the perfect Halloween costume!

I was so excited about the discount! and the dessert party! they told me I could make a reservation at 180 days but it was never there. I just decided to check one day and there it was so I snatched up a ressie ASAP.

we are getting close--68 days! they can't go fast enough! I check my Disney experience everyday to see if I can make our FP+ choices but it looks like we're going to have to wait until 60 days. oh well...
