First timer Wonder Pre trip Report!!

My DH thinks I am soooo crazy about how I have been preparing for this trip... Little does he know, he only knows the half of it. have always wanted to go on a Disney cruise, ever since they first started, but could never afford them. Out of the blue about 2-3 months ago, I get a email offer from disney for 10% off listed prices and $50 OBC... I looked up the prices, got my begging face in motion and became the worlds pain in the neck to my DH...... After about 4 cancelled hold reservations, he finally buckled!!!!

We then had our 1st Disney Cruise!!!!! Now for out anniversary DH took the family on a RC cruise, and lets just say.... he didnt like it at all.. so I knew this was gonna be a job for me.....

I have been doing my magnets, or scrapbooking, Disney shopping, and all that other great stuff...

Oh my goodness, I didnt even tell you who is going on this fantastic voyage!!!

The girls have no idea about whats getting reay to happen to them.... I have kept it secret for the last several months, with them wondering, why does mommy keep buying all of this Disney stuff and we cant play with it!!!!

We are leaving for COCOA Beach, since we live right here in Atlanta, and will be staying at Sheraton Four Points @ Cocoa beach on Wednesday evening...and pulling into port early Thursday morning....... Cant wait to see the looks on my lil girls faces.... PRICELESS...

Now I have a MILLION things to do and I have just been procrastinating all day long...but hey, what good is a vacation without waiting til the last minute to get ready????

Anyhoot...join me on my verbal manipulation of a funtastic Disney surprise trip that begins in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, .....you get the point...

Looking forward to reading more I could never keep a fun secret like this for so long, but I am also the mom who lets the kids open some of their gifts early around Christmas and birthdays

It is going to be a surprise they will never forget.

Your kids are at the best age for the cruise! We started going when our twin DDs were 5 (turned 6 on the cruise) and we just loved every minute of it. We wore matching dresses (and Dad would have the matching shirt) and would get family pictures with the characters and well it was magical.

We are going again next March and my kids will be in the teen club for the first time (they will be 15 when we go) and well......they won't wear matching dresses with me anymore, and it just isn't quite the same. Don't get me wrong, I think we will have a great time, but NOTHING like we did when they were little. I will NEVER forget the day one of my DDs and I were walking through Shutters (it was closes) and we were all alone and Belle came walking through the other way. There we were all by ourselves and we both were so excited. I told her she was our favorite princess (and she is) and she talked to us a bit before going on. To my DD it was something out of this world. To just be walking along and run into Belle with no one else around.

We have many more great memories, but that was is so special.

I hope you guys have many wonderful magical moments!

Ok, 2 days til the Funtastic Magical World Cruise!!!!1

1 day til we leave for Cocoa Beach.....

Hmmmmmmmm, do you know how hard it was to sit and cutout all of my door magnets, with these girls asking a million questions??? Or trying to pack with them wanting to know where am I going with their stuff???? Did I mention, I havent even washed my hair or started on my packing?? I am a horrible packer... I pack 7 days worth of clothes for a 2 day trip, as a "lady" you never know when you just might need........ You get the drift...

Ok, so what have I forgotten...

Hmmm nothing...YET...

I will be back on to give anymore updates...

Ok.... So I end up washing my hair and going to bed at 12:45am....Only to wake at 530am to get ready for our 8 hours trip to Cocoa Beach for Wednesday evenings stay....

Well, we ended up hitting the road at 725am...lil late huh???

Here are the girls in the car on a trip they have no idea where they are going!!! We have told them thus far, we are going to Florida for a vacation. To a 5 and a 3 year old, I guess that speaks ALOT!!! because we gave them no actual place of destination, just Florida...

So moving on......

As soon as we hit the good ole state of Florida...wouldnt you know it!!! It's RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We counted 12 seperate showers along the ride to our hotel. When we got to the hotel, it was full out POURING!!! I am soooooo mad right now, adn of course DH cant seem to understand what the problem is,"it just a lil rain"!!!!

On the good note the hotel is really nice, especially for only 1 night!!! It has the coolest Shark tank right in the middle of the lobby, and it is in the middle of everything you should need, plus the beach is right around the corner!!!

Well, its 733pm and the rain has stopped. It actually is very humid outside, but almost kinda nice... People are still walking back and forth to the beach so this is a "beach" town, as the rain hasnt stop them...

Hoping and praying there isnt any rain in the forecast for tomorrow or the trip in general as I would be disappointed!!

I have been checking the weather and it does say thunder showers for Cocoa Beach tomorrow afternoon, and thunder showers for Nassau....

What the heck is it rainy season!!! DANG!!!!

Talk to you all tomorrow, for my next leg of adventure!!!

Best advice...don't worry, be happy. We did our first Disney Cruise last week, and it rained (and thundered and lightninged!) for an hour or two while we were at Castaway Kay. I ended up missing out on the Jet Ski tour, and I was a bit disappointed.

HOWEVER, we all had the times of our lives, and immediately booked a 7-day cruise for next year (even booking the same ROOM, we liked the location so much).

Go with the flow, there is so much to do and see, and so much fun to be had, that even if it does rain, you will have a crazy amount of fun. Make sure to go to the Pirates IN The Caribbean party, it was a blast!

OK!!! I am back!!

All I can say is.... WOW, was that a trip!! Now remeber, my DH didnt really like cruises, I had to talk him into doing this one...HE was the one that kept reminding me to go back and get more rebooking information!!

Now picking up where I left off...

We leave our hotel for breakfast at McDonalds...

Then head over to the Port...

As we are coming around the bend...there she is, inher gret splendor....So now we stop so DH can get out an videotape her... This is the timeDH decides to break it the girls, that we are going on a DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!

They break out into a uproar!!!!!

We get into the Port, after paying $45 for parking!!!

We were there so early that there wasnt any line!!! We were checked in within 5 mins....We sat around for about 20 mins and Goofy appeared... Guess what??? My DD3 was TERRIFIED!!!!! We had to beg her to take a pic...

We got there soooo early we were group 2 to go thru the mickey ears!!!

We get to the entrance and they call out name...The Mccallum Family!!!
