This is great to know. And likely what we will do too, with the addition of ketchup and maybe one or two pasta nights thrown in.My son has ordered cheese pizza, french fries (no ketchup), a Mickey bar, and a glass of milk every night in the main dining room on just about every Disney cruise he's been on so far.
I should probably mention two things:This is great to know. And likely what we will do too, with the addition of ketchup and maybe one or two pasta nights thrown in.
I should probably mention two things:
1. We're planning a trip next spring and he's already said that he'll stick to his standard dinner order.
2. He supplements the cheese pizza at dinner with more cheese pizza throughout the day from the walk up
Oh, probably should also share that he's 19.
I’m sorry. Did you say something? We are 6 weeks out from our first Disney cruise (and first-ever cruise too!).
Some questions I haven't been able to figure out:
So excited!
- What time do the quick service places typically close? Trying to figure out my back up plan if my kid doesn't eat anything at the main dining
- Do you have to sign up for kid's clubs? My son is 11 and could go to either the Oceanear club or Vibe. Do we have to choose one? Can he go to both?
- Is there a minimum age for the gym? My son loves to go with his dad.
- There is a sporting area? Can you do basketball? Where do you go?
- Can you get mint juleps (non-alcoholic) on the ship? Tiana's or French Quarter Lounge? My son loves them so much along side a beignet.
- I know many of the bars/lounges are adult only at night, but are all of them open to families during the day? Any that are always adult only?
- We just got our first Magic Bands at WDW this year. Any reason to bring them? I know they are rolling out something this summer with the Wish, but I don't think that will be on the Wonder by June?
Wow that must be a lot of pizzaI should probably mention two things:

2. He supplements the cheese pizza at dinner with more cheese pizza throughout the day from the walk up counters.

I told my husband about pizza on deck - when he found out it’s included in the cost of the cruise he said “I’m going to gain 20 pounds aren’t I?”Wow that must be a lot of pizza![]()
I feel ya. Our son is 17 and eats like maybe a few things on the ship. Luckily, he likes steak and barely eats/weighs anything. He’s so picky that he won’t eat the Mac n cheese, because it’s not Kraft or Annie’s. He likes pizza but without sauce, so that pretty much rules out any QS pizza.I should probably mention two things:

Just curious - I used to love Kraft Mac & cheese so is DCL’s not good? I’m going for my first cruise and was looking forward to having some even though I’m an adult! Otherwise I’m staying away from pizza. It's funny because when we go on Royal or Carnival, my son eats steak for dinner every night and tries a whole bunch of different foods. However, on DCL its all-cheese-pizza-all-the-time! He'd agree about the mac & cheese - not Kraft or Annie's, he's not eating it.
It’s fine. It’s not Kraft, but it’s ok. I know people who rave about it, but it isn’t anything gourmet. My kids all liked it when we took them several years ago. I tried it then....it's OK.Just curious - I used to love Kraft Mac & cheese so is DCL’s not good? I’m going for my first cruise and was looking forward to having some even though I’m an adult! Otherwise I’m staying away from pizza.
