First-Timer FP+ Success Story!

First off, I have to give my sister the credit - she got up early-ish and did all the work on the website to get us set up.

Also, it's a 6-night/7-day stay, so we don't have a super-long trip to open up our booking window, and we're a 4-person group.

We were able to get TSMM on our second day, Soarin' two different days at times that work GREAT for us, and Seven Dwarfs (admittedly near the end of our stay, but still our first MK day of the trip.) We didn't try to book A&E because it wasn't something we were particularly compelled to do, and frankly I feel better leaving them for people who REALLY want them!

She said everything was very straightforward and it was easy for her to pick times that would work for all of us and the pace we wanted to work at.

I just wanted to say that it can be done. I have no doubts that people have had a LOT of trouble, and I know the website can delete our reservations any second, but at least for now everything looks great.

So have faith, everyone - the system does appear to work.

Congrats! Glad you were able to get the FP+ options that you wanted!

I think you hit on a big point when you said she got up early-ish. I got all that I wanted for a friend one day and then our family 5 days later when I waited up until midnight to book. One night with a little less sleep was well worth 3 SDMT + 2 A&E FP+

I easily got meets with Anna and Elsa for two days of my upcoming trip Just luck I guess it was about noon the day AFTER fp+ bookings opened up for me

I think that the 6-7 day trip is Disney's goal - keep us at the World longer by doling out FP+ ... for those of us who like 4 nights at a deluxe with 4 days in the parks to ride our favorite rides more than once and use park hoppers to choose the perfect dinner and evening show ....

I just cannot find the silver lining for adults who visit like us. We have no interest in Universal but we can no longer experience the parks the way we prefer.
