Yay, we are booked to go 23-26 Nov 2011 and the more I plan the more excited I'm getting. We have 2 girls a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I have a few questions so far, I'm sure there will be more.

I noticed that some of the shows list that there are English speaking versions, is this available for all the shows and is there a list of times posted on the web so I can plan my days?

For those of you who bring pushchairs (strollers) along, are you allowed to keep them while in que (line)? If not is there a parking area that you feel secure leaving them in?

We will be there during the Christmas season, what should we absolutely not miss?

The Dinner Buffet at Inventions with the Disney characters, is that everyday? Who is there for characters?

Where can we meet the princesses? I considered the lunch/dinner with the princesses but just don't want to spend the money since the girls are so little.

Will do my best to help ! By the way, welcome to the Dis ! Willkommen auf Dis forums :)

Due to the origin of the shows, most of them are either in english or in French AND English. So if you are comfortable with English, you should be fine. You'll find the list of times posted on the website (French and English versions corresponding to the actual period). In advance, you can see the opening times of both parks, which attraction may be closed for refurbishment and in which park you can get EMH.

For those of you who bring pushchairs (strollers) along, are you allowed to keep them while in que (line)? If not is there a parking area that you feel secure leaving them in?

I won't say that thieving someone else's stroller is a frequent thing over the parks. Sometimes our guests mix the Disney strollers with the one rented by another guest. However, if you bring yours, I recommend to take your valuables with you while riding any attractions. Disney can't accept responsibility in case your belongings are left unattended in the stroller parks. You can leave your stroller in parks with no worries. If you are really anxious about it, may I suggest you to bring a small lock so that you can secure it.

In the other hand, I'm afraid but strollers are not allowed in queue lines for safety reasons.

We will be there during the Christmas season, what should we absolutely not miss?

The Once Upon a Dream Parade starring "Santa Claus" and the show "Mickey's Winter Wonderland" in Frontierland at Chaparal Theatre. I've heard something also about "The theatre du Château" (Fantasyland) with some surprises starring Rapunzel.

The Dinner Buffet at Inventions with the Disney characters, is that everyday? Who is there for characters?

Inventions is a buffet service restaurant situated at the first floor of the Disneyland Hotel. This one is situated over the entrance of the Disneyland Park. It is a white & pink hotel and actually the most luxurious of all Disney hotels. You can see it as far as you go through the security checks at the entrance of Disneyland Paris. It is opened every day of the year (as the parks). I highly recommend to book your table in advance (reservations open 60 days in advance). It is offering a very high range of delicious meals that you can choose from a wide buffet (Internationale Küche / International cuisine). You also have the opportunity to meet Disney Characters (can't tell in advance who is showing up but most of Disney VIP's characters are showing on a regular basis : Pluto, Gepetto, Goofy, sometimes Mickey and Minnie if they are not busy in the park, etc...).

Please note the characters are showing up on evenings only (not for lunch)

Where can we meet the princesses? I considered the lunch/dinner with the princesses but just don't want to spend the money since the girls are so little.

At this time of the year (I mean now) princesses can be met in front of "It's a Small World" from 10 am to 2.30 or 3.30 pm. If you do want a "close" meet and greet time, even if your children are low aged, you can book a table at the Auberge de Cendrillon. (advance booking is also highly advised).

If you ever have other questions, please feel free to ask, I'll be delighted to help. I can also help you with the booking of your restaurants if you have already chosen the one you want to try.

Otherwise you can call +33 1 60 30 40 50 (international charges apply)

Microsan, Thank you for your help. I should change my location to an American living in Germany, but thank you for the German gretting. :)

After noticing that the price difference for Inventions and the lunch/dinner with the princesses isn't that much I'm leaning toward the Princess dinner. My dd is Princess crazy right now and I don't think she would care that much about the other characters. What times are available for the lunch and dinner for the princesses? Also since it will be cold then, if my dd wants to wear her princess dress for the dinner, do you think there is any way they would hold the dress there so we don't have to tote it around the park with us?

I believe that the new Princess Pavillion will be open by the time you go? It's a new permanent meet and greet spot for the Princesses, who will be taking up permanent, sheltered residence :)

Thanks! This is awesome!!! Where can I find more info? Do you know where it is located?

Yay!! You are awesome! I saw the pictures yesterday, but it didn't register. Thanks!

If you don't want to pay for the Princess meal at the Auberge, or wait at the queued meet n greets in the Pavillion in Fantasyland, some of the Princesses are in the daily Studios park Cars n Stars parade. Mulan, Ariel, Snow White and Jasmine are present, and there is a meet n greet part to the parade after the main show on the stage.
In low season you may often come across a Princess or 2 strolling around Fantasyland - look out for them either at the area near Its a Small World heading towards the Pizzeria Bella Notte near the big gates there, or in Belles Village, which is set up for Christmas season near Alice's maze (Belle and/or the Beast usually have set times for their meet n greets here, and usually the morning sessions are pretty scrum-free midweek).

Little Princesses wear their costumes all day every day at DLP :goodvibes - pop some thermals/leggings and a long-sleeved T-shirt under the dress, and their coat/winter woolies on top for when they are outside.

If you're thinking of doing a character meal anyway and your DD loves the Princesses, I think at their age I would just go for the Auberge experience, as they'll meet more Princesses in the 2 hours or so you spend there over lunch, than they will in 2 hours anywhere else in the parks ;).

welcome!

- english speaking shows are in the disney studios. the best idea is to get there one morning and look at the boards which tell you all the times and then plan your day so you can see them in english. this includes playhouse disney live and stitch live both of which your girls will love! art of animation, and cinemagique are not so much for their age but they should love animagique. one final word about the studios is think about whether to go to the motors stunt show - my two have never liked the noise or fire so it was a waste of time - but others LOVE! this show!

- most queues you can't have the stroller and you will see a huge collection of them at the entrance! our general thought is not to leave anything valuable at all but make sure there is something that makes it obviously ours, for instance food and drinks bags left on teh seat or our raincoats over the handles. then that stops those who take it by mistake. we also try to but it right in at the back of the crowd so it's difficult to get at - then ours wouldn't be first choice!

- you really must do the princess lunch at the auberge. especially since you are going in the winter. book for 12 noon and then you will be one of the first in (so you don't have to wait for someone else to vacate your table!) and get a seat near the fireplace (ask for this after you have seen cinderella). then you will have two fantastic hours eating yummy food and meeting at least 3 princesses with amazing one on one time for your girls with as many photos as your dh can take! note that you won't have to pay for your 1 year old so she can either share your food (you do get some bread to nibble on) or bring her something to eat yourself (don't know what stage of weaning you will be on!) once you come out from lunch you will be warm, relaxed and ready for many more hours of fun, just grabbing something quick for dinner. note that if your 1 year old is asleep in the stroller when you get to lunch (as my ds was twice when we went) just tell them as soon as you arrive and they can stay asleep in the stroller while you eat - bliss!

- lastly, if you decide not to do inventions then do cafe mickey. i have never done inventions but the food looks amazing - we are not big seafood fans so haven't done it for that reason. instead we go to cafe mickey for lunch or dinner and order off the menu (not the E30 set menu) and can have a good meal for all 4 of us for about E50, while getting fantastic interaction with all the characters. much better than joining the scrums in the park to meet them!

you'll have a great time! make sure you research which rides to do with the kids before you go and make good use of extra magic hours as a lot of the rides appropriate for your girls will be open. we love those 2 hours before everyone else comes in the park!

I'd recommend doing Santa a letter. you pick up an envelope and pre-designed paper, get your daughter to fill it in and then hand it in at their "postage centres" (one located in the Studios - near to where the Stars & cars parade is- and the other is located in Frontierland where the Santa meet and greet is)

Best thing is your daughter will then receive aletter/postcard from Santa!!

Very cool (made our niece's Xmas! LOL)

I've done the Inventions characters meal more than 10 times. I'm also disliking seafood but as this is a international type of buffet, you should also have a choice of beef, but also plenty of other courses.
