Hi! I'm trying to figure out a good itinerary for me and my family and I'd love your suggestions since I haven't been to WDW since I was a kid and don't exactly know what to expect.
It'll be me, my dh, ds 10 & dd 8.
Aug 29-Sept 11
We'll have 7-day park hopper tix (but probably won't use more than 6 days...the tix are part of the homeschool pkg), plus 7 passes for use at the water parks, Disney quest or the mini golf places. We wont have any ADRs because we are going to try to do food on the cheap and bring most of our meals in to the parks or eat in our hotel room.
Fri, Aug 29 - Arrive at St. Pete Beach (via car from MN)
Day at beach
Hotel stay in St. Pete
Sat, Aug 30 - Legoland (this is a must for my kids)
Drive to Orlando - hotel stay near SW
Sun, Aug 31 - Sea World (incl. in our DC tix price)
Stay in hotel near SW
Mon, Sept 1 - Aquatica (incl. in our DC tix price)
Check in to Pop for the remainder of our stay
Tues, Sept 2 HS- RD
Afternoon break at hotel
Evening at MK Watch MSEP & W
Wed, Sept 3 - Discovery Cove
Thurs, Sept 4- EP- RD either stay all day until close and watch Illum. or
take a midday break and return to EP for the
evening depending on how were feeling.
Fri, Sept 5 - Daytona Speedway
Daytona Beach
Sat, Sept 6 - AK- RD
Afternoon break at hotel
Disney Quest & shopping at Downtown Disney
Sun, Sept 7 - Disney Waterpark (not sure which one yet...any suggestions?)
Mon, Sept 8 - AK Arrive for 8 am EMH, participate in homeschool educational program from 8:30-11:30 am
Afternoon break at hotel
EP Evening until were tired (dont have to stay for Illumin.)
Tues, Sept 9 - MK RD
Afternoon break at hotel
HS evening and watch F!
Wed, Sept 10 MK RD or whenever we get there and stay until were done
Thurs, Sept 11 Head home
Are we better off keeping that many afternoon breaks? Or hopping right to the next park? We are all early risers and pretty good about being able to go for a long time. Should I try to add in any time at the mini golf places since theyre included in our tickets? Or just skip them?
Thanks!
