First Time To Disneyland

Thank you everyone for all of your positive DL talk. We were going to plan a surprise trip to WDW during Halloween for our boys, but because of the cost of airfare it put it out of our budget. So... we have booked our first ever trip to DL. We do plan to come back in 2013 when Cars Land in finished.

Now I am rambling. I just wanted to thank everyone in the thread for all of the positive pixies about DL. Now I know we made the right choice.

My family and I are considering our next vacation to be at DL. For the last 4 years we have enjoyed our annual vacation at WDW in Orlando. I have had several people tell us that if you love Disneyworld, you will be disappointed with Disneyland. Is that possible? I know it's smaller, but how in general would a trip to Disneyland compare if we have only been to WDW before? Will it be a letdown?

My Grandma and Mom told me something similar but the reverse. They told me that DL was better than MK and that I would be disappointed if I went to WDW but I'm not listening. I'm making memories for myself. IMO everyone's experiences are different and everyone's opinions are different it just depends on what you and your family want to experience. I love DL & CA Adventure so in Dec I'm headed to WDW for my 1st time after going to DL several times. Good luck!
