First time tenter at the Fort

My parents and I are experienced tent campers, but we are going to be tenting at the Fort for the first time in December (we've been in the cabins previously), and I just had a couple of questions I figured you folks might be able to answer.

1) We've got 2 tents (7x9 & 9x10) and a 12x12 screen house. Will we fit? We plan to put the screen house over the picnic table.

2) Is it feasible to move the table over to where the electrical is, in order to cover them both with the screen house? We'd probably use the table area of the site for the smaller tent if we did that.

3) Any other tips for tenting at that time of year?

You should be able to put up all the Tents and Screen Room on site easy. I wouldn't put Screen Room over electical box, maybe just near it. Just run power cords under. Also, maybe some extra blankets it does get cold some in December. When are you planning on being there before or after Christmas?Table can be moved were you need it, but be care it is heavy.

We'll be there the second week of December. Least expensive time to see the Christmas decorations...

We've been down at that time of year before, so we know what to expect temperature wise at night, but it might be worthwhile to look at some thermals, just in case. Thanks for your advice!

We camp with only one 10 x 14 tent and an awning and just fit in loop 1500. More than that, I would recommend loop 2000. Also, we were there in November and ended up going to Wal-mart to buy a space heater since it became chilly at night... just something to consider. We moved the table as well to allow more space. Don't forget the Christmas decorations!
