I make my ADRs one week from today! WOOOOHOOO!

It's our first time going, ever, for any of us. So far, our dining plans include the aquarium restaurant in Epcot (sorry I don't remember it's name just now!), Tusker House Breakfast in AKL, Hollywood and Vine breakfast in HS, CRT for either breakfast or dinner, BOG (we hope), T-Rex in DTD, Akershus in Epcot, hopefully a SWW meal in HS (of course), and a 1900 Park Fare dinner.

Also we'll hopefully swing by Beaches and Cream at some point.

What, in your opinion, are we really missing out on that I should add to the list? I still have some open spots. We're not particularly foodies. I like more unique experiences, me, but my husband is a very, very standard-fare kind of guy, and my daughter is has the four year old appetite as characterized in chicken nugget and pedia-sure commercials. My mother and father in-laws will be with us at the very beginning of our trip, FIL is diabetic. Both of them like...well, everything we eat at their house seems to either contain a can of soup or cool whip. They're used to processed foods.

You have a bunch of great places on your list.

I would add 50's Prime Time Cafe at HS. It sounds like your group (kids and adults alike) will like it. Overall, the food and fun at this place is worth adding to your trip.

Also, a unique experience, the San Angel Inn at Epcot. Ask for a table next to the ride. My kids really enjoyed it and the food is good (especially the guacamole appetizer). How often can you dine ride/river side on a beautiful night in Mexico while being in sunny Orlando?

Have a great time planning!

Whenever we take a first-timer to Disney, the following is a pretty standard go-to list for us:

Chef Mickey's
Sci-Fi
Prime Time Cafe
Le Chefs
Coral Reef
Flying Fish (when splurging at our resort)
CRT (sometimes, depending on guest preference)

Counter Service:
BOG
Flame Tree

Ohhh, I did forget 50's Prime Time! I DO want a Peanut Butter and Jelly shake! Thanks!

CORAL REEF! That's it! I honestly don't know what the deal will be with Sci-Fi when we're there since it will be during Star Wars Weekends. I hear last year it was converted to a Vader breakfast.

Now what is this Le Chefs business?

I'm always going to suggest Chef Mickey's...its a great way to meet your favorite characters, and you can ride the monorail there!

Chefs de France, rather. French cuisine in World Showcase. I find that a lot of the World Showcase restaurants are either too common to be viewed as unique or too exotic for inexperienced pallets. Chefs de France offers a good balance of a mildly exotic experience without being intimidating. Most dishes have a modern take with some traditionals you would expect as well, such as french onion soup, escargots, and croque monsieur.

Ohhhh gotcha! I know I DEFINITELY want to root out the ice cream place in France for a Croque Glace. They look HEAVENLY in pictures!

breakfast at The Crystal Palace and breakfast or Dinner at Ohana!!!

also, save room on the EPCOT day to snack around the World.. grabbing tasty things from all the different Countries :)

I would ad Chef Mickeys as a must do. Boma is a good one too but the others on your list are really good. If you cannot get BOG for dinner, consider it for lunch and sounds like breakfast.

I'm a first timer, too. For dinner in DHS, would you recommend Sci-Fi or Hollywood & Vine? Or save the TS for a Character Breakfast?

The trip is me, DH and 2 DDs, ages 8 & 10.

Apologies if I'm hijacking.
