In February, I'm taking my husband to Disneyworld for his first time ever, a quick 4 day trip.

Unfortunately, much to his chagrin, I don't do "thrill rides", so he's going to sacrifice (this time). Friends have told him there's plenty to do and see without wrecking my back and making me throw up! Ha Ha.

I haven't been to Disneyworld in 12 years, myself! I've never been to Epcot etc., only ever did The Magic Kingdom with my youngster. What do you experienced people suggest as a "must see" itinerary for a couple of 45 year olds??

We're staying at Caribbean Beach Resort.

Thanks for any advice!

There are many other things to see and do at WDW, but these are the things that I think you folks could do without risk of injury and still have quite a bit of entertainment value for those that are still a kid at heart.

I would like to suggest that you and your hubby take a look at www.allearsnet.com for more detailed info on all the things that can be done at WDW inside and outside the gates of the parks themselves. I loved the carriage ride that we took last year at FW. I can't wait to do the MK Specialty/Fireworks Cruise in December. There is just so much to do! Have fun planning. Mickey

There are several attractions at WDW I won't do but DW loves them. She never skips them, I just go and do something else for a few minutes (shop, snack, etc.)

Have a great trip and welcome to the Dis

Your husband can still do the thrill rides.
Why don't you just go thru the line ups with him until he gets to the spot where he boards the ride. He boards the ride and has fun and you go thru the chicken out exit and meet him when he is done.
There is usually lots to see when you go thru the line ups too.

My favorite thing to do in WDW with my hubby is to walk through World Showcase and soak up the atmosphere.

Have you considered doing a behind the scenes tour? DH really likes trains, and we did the Magic Behind the Steam Trains Tour recently. We have also done the Keys to the Kingdom tour and enjoyed it. There are lots of different tours, and you may find one that especially suits your interests.

I'd say the World Showcase at Epcot is a must see. I love the shows, the food, and the general atmosphere there. And of course, Illuminations. The only thing remotely "thrilling" is the ride in Norway, and that's a stretch. There are also many nice things to see in Future World... just avoid Mission Space and Test Track, everything else is very tame.

There are also many fine shows at the MGM Studios. I'd make a point of seeing Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, since it won't be around much longer. The Great Movie Ride is nice, too. And of course, Fantasmic is a "must see" as well.

Each theme park has a 3-D movie. The new one in Fantasyland at the Magic Kindgom is called Mickey's Philharmagic and it's a definite "must see, " in my opinion.

Try not to miss Spectromagic and Wishes, the new fireworks show, at the Magic Kindom. Of all the fireworks attractions at any park, Wishes was my favorite. I saw it in the theme park, from the Polynesian dock, and from the 15th floor observation deck at the Contemporary resort.

There are many fine shows and attractions at the Animal Kindom, including the animals themselves! I don't know how sensitive your back is, but the safari ride is something we never miss seeing. It's a bit bumpy, but no worse than the potholes in Philadelphia in my opinion! The Lion King and Tarzan Rocks were both high quality shows that I'd highly recommend.

You'll have fun! I've been with infants and pregnant before, so anything "thrilling" was just out of the question and guess what? I had a BLAST. There is just so much to see and do.

Also, in Downtown Disney there is the Cirque de Solei... I've never seen it, but it looks awesome... Dinsey Quest, and Pleasure Island. ENjoy!

Thank you all so much for your great ideas and suggestions. I have copied them allll down! Can't wait.

I have told my darling that he should just go on the thrill rides without me, I'll just stay in line with him, then wish him well as he boards....HE insists he doesn't want to go on without me. But he may well change his mind, when we're there. I'll just talk about how much I'll miss going on Space Mountain, how wonderful it was etc., and it'll kill him - he'll have to go on alone!

Thanks for taking the time to answer - I appreciate it!
