First Time holiday visit - my head is spinning!

We have traveled to WDW every year for the past 5 years, have just become DVC members etc etc but this year we will be visiting during the holiday season for the first time. We will be there the week after Thanksgiving.

I am a planner and feel like I had a good grasp of our usual Jan/Feb trips, but now my head is spinning with all of the holiday events etc.

Also, i'm going crazy not having the official December 2014 park hours out yet. I am tentatively planning based on 2013 times but would really LOVE to have the real deal so I could feel more comfortable.

My ADR day is June 3rd and I am just really itching to get things going with my plans.

So...all this brings me to a few questions:

MVMCP - do I need to rush to buy tickets right now or can I wait a while?

Candlelight Processional - when do times/tickets/whatever get released for this? when does the narrator list get released typically?

Anything else of interest that is only during the holiday time that you would suggest?

I'm also debating about getting the dining plan (we've never done it but now that my son is 3 (and eats A LOT) it might make sense?)...but that is for another thread. haha!

And another question-
Will the resorts be decorated for Christmas that soon after thanksgiving? Thinking about a non park day to go around and see the decor but wanted to see if that would be a waste of time first week in December. Thanks!

1. You can wait a while.

2. I dunno, but CPs usually start Thanksgiving Weekend.

3. Osborne Lights at DHS (no confirmed reports of this going away, though I expect the rumor-mongers to appear again)

4. Yes.

I went the week after Thanksgiving last year and all the resorts were decorated. :cool1:

Make sure you see the Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios! Might be the best thing at Disney ever! :goodvibes

You also have the Holiday Storytellers over at EP in the WS. They're all good, but Norway is our favorite.
