At 6 months, my daughter loved
Disneyland, especially the characters, electrical parade, and Fantasyland rides. She really enjoyed the trip, even though I wasn't expecting her to get much out of it. At 3 months she had a good time too, more so cause I held her all day, but she loved Spectromagic at 3 months in WDW too. Definitely take your baby to see that-they love the lights!
2002Disneybride, I can't speak for your baby, but there's no way I could have left my daughter at 3 months more than 2 hours. She is breastfed (just started cereal this week!) and though she'd take a bottle from me and sometimes her dad, she would not eat from anyone else and would simply starve herself until I came back, and scream with hunger pains. We went on a
Disney cruise and to WDW when she was 15 weeks old and I'm so glad she was old enough to go because we otherwise would have had to cancel because although I thought before she was born that I could leave her for the 4 nights there's no way I would have done it. At 3 months she was waking up once during the night to eat, but that combined with being a high-need infant (she always had to be held, swaddled exactly right to sleep, etc.) would have exhausted any caregiver. Anyone else, even my husband, got tired and wanted to put her down after awhile, causing tears and distress. I would definitely take your son at 3 months. My daughter wasn't a problem at all on our trip at that age (only the mad heat of June was), she stayed in the Baby Bjorn most of the day, ate in attractions or while my husband was on a ride she was too small for, cooled off in the baby care centers, and had a great time being with mommy all day!
Oh yeah, DWhittles, we got pack n' plays at Pop, AKL, and the GF and also a real crib at the GF (smaller than normal size, but a crib). The GF pack n' play was so rickety and shaky, which is why we got the real crib. My daughter always slept in my bed so I don't know about trying to make the crib seem like home. If you plan on using the pack n' play, however, bring your own sheet as the GF was out of them when we checked in and did not 'restock' till the next day so they told me to just use a regular sheet. Won't happen everytime, but just in case I'd bring a sheet next time. We also gate check our stroller-easier than carrying 2 around, and we have that Graco CoachRider too, which I think you have (not that I recommend that for anyone in WDW). I carry my daughter in the Bjorn in the airport and then pile the carry-ons (carseat included) in the stroller and just push it to the gate, check it at the plane door and then carry the stuff that short distance. It's easier than carrying the carseat and diaper bag separately, plus pushing the baby, and the stroller is so huge that everything fits in it, no matter how much stuff we have. Then when we get there, we just carry the stuff off the plane and dump it all right in the stroller. Will you be using the booster seat in your resort, or is it for the restaurants? My daughter just started cereal this week so she was only on breastmilk on all our vacations, but we're going to Lake Las Vegas at the end of the month and I was wondering about bringing something to feed her in the room so when you mentioned a booster seat it caught my eye. I had been thinking of feeding her in her stroller, but I was hoping to bring the Maclaren on that trip and she's too low in that to comfortably feed her.
