I'm a new member and I'm leaving for my first BWV trip in February (preferred view)

Really 2 questions

1. I've read in a number of posts that there are some pretty bad preferred views. I have not requested any location for my trip. Should I request a view (say Luna Park View ) to try to avoid the bad views? I know the request is not gauranteed, but I thought that since I did not request anything they might stick me with one of the bad views. My parents are staying at BWI at the same time and I'm trying to convince them to purchase, so I want the room view to be a good one so I can try to sway them.

2. Can you use the DDE at the Spoodles take out window? The DDE specifically excludes the take out window at Beaches and Cream, but does not mention anything about the Spoodles take out window.

Thanks for any suggestions and information.

That may be the case right now because of the big white tent in back of the resort or some other construction reasons but overall, most of the preferred views are consistent. You usually see some kind of water, whether it be the pool or the canal.

It can't hurt to put in a request. I would if I were you. The odds of getting a bad view though, especially with a "Luna Park" view request is small.
